Who Are They?

Bone Crushers are roaring giants that wade through their enemies, their foes unable to stop them. They do not need weapons; their fists are enough. Arrows and blades bounce off their impervious hide, as they simply ignore any attack aimed at them. Each blow sends their opponents flying into the air. They are Bone Crushers.

Bone Crushers draw their origination from the blood-fueled cultures of the strength-loving races. Most Bone Crusher's come from the Horde, many of their races revering physical strength and those who wield it. The only Alliance race which gives birth to Bone Crushers and the hearty, alcohol-fueled Dwarves.

Who Likes Them?

Any society that relishes violence and physical prowess. These include Tauren, Orc and Dwarves.

All others cultures consider Bone Crushers to be barbaric and bloodthirsty beasts. This contempt, however, does little to dull the fear of these fearsome creatures.

Strengths

  • Roots

A Bone Crusher, through their training, does not forget their origional base class.

Upon reaching Bone Crusher rank, a Warrior will still remember how to engage in finesse combat. They will be able to intercept, disarm, sunder armor and do all other warrior abilities.

Upon reaching a Bone Crusher rank, a Runemaster will still remember how to wield runic magic. They will be able to heal themselves, buff allies and do all other Runemaster abilities.

  • Strength

A Bone Crusher's strength is truly legendary. They are three times stronger than their normal base class, able to easily pick up heavy weapons and dent plate armor with their fists.

A Bone Crusher's endurance and threshold for pain is increased, giving them the ability to shrug off physical paralysis or physical pain-inducing attacks with ease. They have higher health then normal characters.

  • Thick Skin

A Bone Crusher's skin has the same resiliency to attacks as plate armor.

  • Fist Mastery

A Bone Crusher is at its deadliest while wielding only crude two-handed bludgeoning/cleaving weapons or with their fists.

Weaknesses

  • Bulky

A Bone Crusher is a wall of muscles. While strong, they have poor maneuverability. They are slow and rarely able to block quick attacks. They have poor ability to dodge an attack.

  • Magic

Bone Crushers are not resistant to magic unless otherwise warded and it passes through their tough hide easily.

  • Arcaneless

Bone Crushers who have roots as warriors are unable to wield magic.

  • Ranger

  • Specialty

If wielding anything but bulky two handed maces, cleavers or simply using their fists ,bone-crushers are unskilled with their weaponry and lose any combat bonuses.

Skills and Abilities

  • Rush

A Bone Crusher rushes forward quickly, closing a medium distance in a matter of a few seconds.

  • Smash

A Bone Crusher focuses their strength for a single crushing blow designed to destroy low-quality weaponry or break a limb.

  • Shield

A Bone Crusher withdraws into themselves, entering a state where they are unable to attack but where all physical damage is negated.

Training Outline

A Bone Crusher Aspirant must be willing to undergo the strenuous training and muscle building required of his new position. They must have good reason to attain the position as well; it is not a path undertaken by those weak of will.

The first step is finding a teacher or suitable instructor. The teacher does not necessarily have to be a Bone Crusher. Anyone who has knowledge of the human body and the ways required to hone it –perhaps a haggard warrior, a learned monk, a wise spiritual leader or a crazy doctor- all are capable teachers.

The teachers must then be courted by the prospective pupil. The teacher can ask for any sort of favor in return for accepting an Aspirant, from a feet of strength to carrying out an errand. After the teacher has been suitably impressed the training will begin in any location they deem appropriate.

The first stage of the training is muscle toning. Bone Crushers are forced, in the span of two weeks, to bulk up their muscles to prodigious levels. This can be accomplished through magical means, chemical means or simply getting down and lifting weights, fighting and training. The training is complete only when the Bone Crusher's muscle mass has been doubled and they take on a large, frightening appearance.

The next step is the hardening. The Aspirant undergoes training to harden themselves, deadening their senses to pain and turning their flesh into living armor. The hardening can be accomplished through magical means, chemical means or simple training. Training can involve anything from meditation to repeatedly being beaten and learning to work through the pain.

The last step is a proving of worth. Worth can be proved either through doing a feet of grand strength or brutality, entering into a battle against a strong foe or simply besting the teacher. Anything that proves the worth of the Bone Crusher and cements in their mind and the minds in others that they are completed is adequate.

After that point the Aspirant is officially a Bone Crusher.
