Barney is a rather angry dwarf, even more so after his training as a Bone Crusher, he'd done a lot of training and had become a battle hardened killing machine, he is as racist as can be when it comes to Elves, Sin'dorei or Kel'dorei, all the same to him. Barney also dislikes every other race, but not as much, this excludes other dwarves and gnomes, he likes them. Enrage the Bone Crusher and you're dead, he doesn't stop, it's just -hit- -hit- -hit-. Aside from this, he enjoys drinking with his friends, and well, punching stuff.

History

Barney grew up living in the Hinterlands, his parents Martha and Bruegal two battle hardened dwarves from the Wildhammer Clan. His parents wanted him to take after them, but he –really- did not want to, all he ever wanted was to be an engineer and to have his parents respect him. At the young age of thirteen his parents got him his own gryphon, he took a liking to it right away, and he named it Grimble because it was always making grumbling noises. His parents taught him to fight while mounted upon a gryphon they taught him about the bond between Dwarves and they're gryphon's, he became a flying weapon. He was still against the idea of going to war but his parents urged him onward, he became frustrated and angry with them disappointed he decided he would leave and follow his dream to become an engineer. Many years had passed since Barney had left his home and parents with Grimble; he decided he would travel between Ironforge and Stormwind as an engineer. Barney had his own business and was content with it, at the age of thirty-five Barney decided his life so far was very well, boring and ‘unlived' so he mounted his gryphon and flew to Redridge, Lakeshire to help with the black rock orc issues. When he arrive offering help he was rejected, told he was too short and would amount to nothing, furiously he flew into the mountains and decided he would do his own thing. Barney met a group of orcs and defeated them in battle, armed with only an axe and rusted rifle he severed limbs and ultimately ruined them, though he did defeat them he was greatly wounded gashes and cuts littered his body, he was dying. His gryphon Grimble struggled to lift his injured companion, being the large dwarf he was he did weigh a lot; the gryphon carried him to Lakeshire and waited for somebody to help him. One of the few medics in Lakeshire hurried over to him, he brought him to the upper floor of the inn and tended to his wounds, Barney was exhausted and faint from blood loss. After a few days he was able to walk, his body noticeably covered with scars, he left deciding it was time to return to his old quiet life and lay low.
