Azshara
From CotH-Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to searchA shattered stretch of coastline on Kalimdor's northeast, Azshara was once the greatest night elf metropolis. The city fell millennia ago in the War of the Ancients, but a few ragged buildings perch on the cliffs overlooking similar ruins among the coral. Much of the city of Azshara fell into the ocean. The Horde has established a small outpost, Grim Ulang, in the area, but naga are a constant danger.
Friendly Forces

The bridge joining Ashenvale and Azshara
Alliance
- Talrendis Point - A small Night Elven outpost who have set themselves up on the entrance from Ashenvale to Azshara. Currently they seem to have no goal, but that could all change.
Horde
- Valormok - This is a minuscule Horde camp that's unprotected and bare. Though they seem not to be here for the Night Elves' resources or for the Naga, they seem to seek revenge on Magus Rimtori. She was lent Warriors from the Horde to protect her and her fellow Elves for an expedition to Azshara in search of treasures. Magus Rimtori did indeed find treasure, and she promptly killed all the Horde forces and set up camp with her own remaining troops. However, there is a possibility that Naga may be in their way.
Neutral
- Ursolan - Just a band of Timbermaw Furbolgs, but don't expect a warm welcome. The Timbermaw Furbolgs being the only uncorrupted tribe, they're very wary of strangers. With exception of the Night Elves.
Enemy Settlements
- Ruins of Eldarath - Once a beautiful Night Elf city, when the Sundering came the city was destroyed, and half of it remains deep underwater. The Naga have claimed it for their own, and there have been various expeditions to dig up treasures. The incredibly vast number of the Naga would make this no easy conquest. It'd have to be taken piece by piece.
- Haldarr Encampment - Ruins that have been retaken by Satyr, it's likely they've been causing nearby Valormok trouble.
- Lake Mennar - Strangely, there are Dragonspawn from the Blue Dragonflight who have taken over a Naga camp. Could they too have a reason to fight them? However, they are still hostile to all to approach them.
- Thalassian Base Camp - A target of revenge for their betrayal against Belgrom Rockmaul, Valormok wish to destroy the Blood Elves and Magus Rimtori, however they lack the numbers.
- Legash Encampment - Only a small place that has but a few Satyr stationed, however to the east there is another group of Satyr who would most likely come to their aid if attacked.
- Tower of Eldara - It is located on the very tip of land northeast of the Bay of Storms, and the sandy beaches near the tower are heavily patrolled by murlocs, makrura, and hydras. The tower itself stands closed and abandoned.
- Temple of Zin-Malor - This temple is an ancient building situated in the Ruins of Eldarath. It was once a prominent night elven temple devoted to the worship of their goddess, Elune.
