Shatterspear Village

Shatterspear Village is a reclusive troll encampment deep within the hills of Darkshore. It can only be accessed through a magic portal from Warsong Gulch. In the past, the village was a good place for new adventurers to go in order to train up their skills and maybe find an outfit for an up and coming event, being as how various trainers, vendors and portals were available here. Now, however, the main place to go for these needs is Warsong Gulch.

These days, the main thing of note in Shatterspear Village is the 'Tower of Tears.' At the top of the initial box-climbing adventure, you'll come across an Innkeeper who can sell you a 'Checkpoint Teleport.' The main use of this device was to let folks teleport directly to the top of the big box climb, but most folks use it in lieu of their hearthstone to get to Warsong Gulch easier and faster.
