Personality

Alignment: Neutral Good

Willard is an simple and honest man of genuine faith in the Light. He has seen the dangerous repercussions of over-zealous faith and war campaign. It is easy for him to judge this way because he is a common man looking at at a distant war. He knows of a term called victory, but only sees the vast rolls of fallen heroes. The recent death of his oldest sister by the hands of their father weighs heavily on Willard.

History

Willard was born the second eldest child to Maurice and Alicia Kimble of Lakeshire. A Priest and Paladin of the Light, respectively. His parent's focus shifted from his older sister Wanda to Willard when he was born. While it bothered Wanda a little, she understood what it meant to carry the family name. The family grew as most despite relocation during the Blackrock Orc attacks.

Soon the family's size grew to four, with the kids following in their parents' footsteps. Wanda became a squire to an uprising Paladin, Willard joined the Church to become a preacher. The two eldest came to rely on each other during their studies. Jane had the green-thumb of the kids and is poised to inherit the family farm. A few years later an unplanned Alex was born into the world. Wanda, now a competent Paladin in the service of the Light, was shipped off to Northrend to aid in the War. The news of her death came shockingly quickly to the family, Willard taking it the hardest. He cursed his inaction and dropped the passive preacher act to follow a more destructive path of Holy Magic.

With the War over and things returning to normal Willard began to take the final steps to officially join the Church. It was at this time Wanda returned to her family. She was a Death Knight, in service of the Ashen Verdict. It made no matter to their father, and he demanded the abomination leave from their home. Willard tried to intervene, but was struck in the family conflict. Enraged, Willard's father 'escorted' the undead woman out to the fields. Unable to help, Willard stayed inside while his mother worked on his wounds.

Crushed again with his sister's release into eternal rest, Willard left the Church. He believed them unreasonable in their judgement of others. Willard still talks with his family, but it is a surface relationship at best. He now travels from place to place doing what is right in his own eyes. His travels have led him to the town of Hearthglen, hoping to do good there. He met a curious woman named Katrana Silverburg. Willard boldly asked the attractive woman to join him for dinner, and the two hit it off. He respects her status as a Noble and found the courage to ask her to go courting. Katrana surprised him by approving and they continue to work out their relationship to this day.

Skills and Abilities

Willard has been working on his social skills with the help of Katrana. He has picked up ballroom dancing and has a curious hobby of Target Archery, though nothing combat worthy. He knows advanced Priest spells and he is gifted in a couple abilities of spell-casting.

  • Deep Faith - Willard's faith in the Light and multiple trips into spell-casting fatigue has expanded his total mana pool. However this makes him more susceptible to mana based attacks and drains.
  • Divine Spirit - Willard's genuine compassion and concern for others has blessed him with an increased recovery rate.
