Custom Item link

I wanted to have it open in a new window or tab. Is there a way to keep it internal yet have it do so?  Ural. T C 11:32, 18 April 2012 (PDT)

Ideally, links within the wiki shouldn't open within a new window. It's a basic rule for web design and usability. Most visitors are competent enough with their browsers to know how to open a link in a new window or tab if desired; however, forcing a link to open in a new window takes that option away from the end-user. Furthermore, internal links that are structured as opening in an external window or tab are not tracked properly within the CMS, which could result in problems if global changes need to be made to a link/article/whatever. For example, I wouldn't be able to tell that the Custom items article is linked from the Commands article.  Piroska . T C 12:14, 18 April 2012 (PDT)
