Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: At first glance, Doran is easily mistaken for a woman. He is a small person and obviously still has plenty of growing to do. He has a scar running along the base of his neck from wearing an improperly fit collar for almost a whole year. His outfits are always unique, having made them himself. All of his scars remain hidden regardless of outfit. Along his torso is a set of inscription-esque tattoos in a dark purple ink. In time the tattoos were expanded and are now visible across his upper arms as well as his right leg. After years of physical training, he has grown quite a bit of muscle and now favors wearing plate armor, sacrificing speed for higher defense.

Personality

He is a headstrong individual and hardly backs down when others are challenged. Over time he has grown rather standoffish of newer people and boasts a wall of uncaring to those he meets. He is slow to trust others and far from the gullible individual he once was. Having taken the time to properly educate himself, he has learned more of the world around him and has dropped most of his child-like naive tendencies.

He has an incredibly strong will and gains his confidence from those around him. Having felt scorned by Keyus and Aydendril, Doran chose a different path in life. He spent years training under his elder family members and Aenin learning techniques used by paladins and priests alike, adopting a new mentality along the way. He sees himself as a defensive wall to his family and refuses to allow any harm to come to them while also trying to repent for his past wrongdoings. Even with this, he has become a wolf in sheep's clothing. He is a spiteful and snide person except to those he either felt he has wronged or he knows he can trust. Those select few are lucky to see the old kind and caring Doran they are used to or haven't seen before.

Alignment: Lawful Evil

History

Doran was born within the city of Silvermoon, his mother passing only hours after his birth due to complications. In his young years he was left in the care of his older brother and his father. It wasn't until about his seventh birthday his father disappeared, leaving him and his brother alone. His brother found a job outside the city and spent a majority of his time trying to provide for himself and the younger. Doran spent his time on the streets, away from his home and usually begging for extra money from anyone who happened to pass by. Years passed and he felt some sort of normalcy return to his life until the day his brother passed in a construction accident.

It took him a few weeks to get used to living on his own. After five years, he began feeling the want to join the high-class society, admiring their clothing and graceful appearance. He took what coins he earned through begging, he went to the tailor to buy his first bolt of fabric, a needle, and some thread to begin teaching himself how to sew. He worked for hours to get every stitch perfect, wanting to get as good as he possibly could. When he would return to the tailor for supplies, he would bring extra money with him to buy an hour of training.

He sold his first piece of clothing at age twelve after two years of constant practice for ten bronze. Feeling accomplished, he bought more fabric to continue making and selling clothes. While working with linen, he practiced the basics of embroidery. He would find himself embroidering whenever he had free time. It took him a few years before he made a name for himself as a tailor. When he turned twenty five, he took to traveling along the Eastern Kingdoms to sell his clothing. When the Second War came around, he returned to Silvermoon to aid the war effort with his tailoring. He spent time patching uniforms and fixing clothes for the soldiers. He stayed in the city throughout the war, delighted and inspired by the stories he heard each day. When the war ended, he returned to his travels throughout Eversong.

When news of the Scourge invasion came to him he took to hiding in the woods. He watched from the treetops as the city was attacked, doing nothing to aid in defending his home. A horrible feeling nagged at him as he went through the woods. The withdrawals were almost too much for him to bear. He came across a warlock in his travels that had recently returned from the Outlands. It didn't take long for him to give in to the fel the warlock had with him . Interested with the magic that had aided him, he wanted to know more of what the warlock had done. He did not dare delve too far into the arts and only learned the basics. He knew enough to boost his confidence to travel further along the continent. After a few years, his travels landed him in Stranglethorn Vale. It would be a trip to change his life.

He managed to get lost in the jungle, making him an easy target for a trollish slaver. With his freedoms taken from him, he was sold to a Death Knight named Keyus. He was forced into a life that made him uncomfortable, but in time he came to enjoy the company he had ended up in. Aydendril had become like an older brother to him, and Arilyn like a mother. He made and lost friends during his ventures, shaping him into the person he is now. His knowledge in his arts expanded as he learned from the people he had met, primarily Aydendril, Elend, and Urameil, each offering him insight to the different branches of the demonic arts. During his early time studying, however, he was primarily a demonologist studying under Urameil.

During his travels he decided to look further into his heritage. It did not take long for him to be reunited with his father, Iverynalian Eranu'belore, and to study further into what his family had to offer. He became much closer to those he had come to fear over time, now regarding many of his family as respectable individuals rather than those to be feared. He abandoned many spells he learned from Aydendril out of spite and chose to focus primarily on those he learned from his family. Those in his family he had known were primarily spell caster, and in time he chose to be more physically fit to wear armor and carry larger weapons. Even though he strived to change his ways, time with his family had influenced his personality. He began to emulate those near him that he felt were to be respected and in time fully adapted their usually cruel ways. Once he felt he was ready, he sought a family friend to craft a set of armor and set out to find who had wrong him and those he had wronged himself, going to "set the record straight".

Skills and Abilities

Tailor's Experience: He has spent years tailoring and requires no measurements when working. He can take measurements by eye with great accuracy.

Don't Lose Your Way: No longer the warlock he was, he learned from his mistakes when studying the dark arts. He is not easily swayed by anyone trying to pull him back into his old ways. While he refuses to use his old magics, he has keen senses when detecting those who are warlocks.

Nightmare Affliction: While studying Shadow from Elend, Doran listened to stories from Ralerian and Aendron on the workings of the mind. This knowledge makes repentance more effective.

Bastard Eranu'belore: While not always part of his family, what time Doran has spent with his kin has been spent learning. Any spells he writes are inspired by or based upon spells commonly found in his family. Intricate ways of disabling opponents are common.

Fighting Dirty: Pent up anger and feeling used can only go so far. Doran isn't afraid to cheap shot if needed. This can range anywhere from a sucker punch to throwing dirt in someone's face. He will instigate a fight if need be when out of armor only to play innocent later. Depending on his mood, this could lead to beating a dead horse, not giving up on beating someone until they are unconscious or possibly dead. CWs are issued accordingly.

Experienced Slaver : He is experienced in the field of tracking and trafficking humanoids. His moral compass has skewed greatly during his time with Shadovarn. He understands the basics of scouting and bow use. He is not easily immobilized by gruesome sights.

Eranu'belore Juggernaut : Warrior spells are fueled by Shadow. Some spells are similar to that of a Shadow Priest, but require some form of physical force to be effective. Execute functions similarly to Shadow Word: Death, Rend works similarly to Shadow Word: Pain, Thunder Clap works similarly to Mind Sear, and Intimidating Shout works similarly to Psychic Scream. Rallying Cry only empowers other Shadow users.
