Personality

Alignment: True Evil

Once a good-souled troll, Zol's mind has become corrupted by hate, due to seeing many of his friends getting enslaved by dark magics. He hates the Darkspear Tribe (for abandoning his friends and others on Echo Isles.), thus causing Zol to commonly ask other trolls what tribe they hail from. He hates Humans for their part in attacking the Broken Isles and the Echo Isles. Above all, Zol hates cowards. Zol likes the Orcs for there help on the Broken Isles. As for the other races on Azeroth, Zol does not know of them nor does he care to know about them. Zol is also not afraid to fight or even kill, nor is he scared to admit. Zol is wise due to his many battles and does not rush when deciding what he should do next when a problem arises. Zol also does what he wants -when- he wants. He may decide to listen to someone, he may not. Zol is also quite superstitious. Being a priest, he is tight with culture and he follows both Trollish olden customs as well as modern customs.

Past History

I. Zol'jock's Birth and his Potential

Zol'jock was born into the Darkspear tribe on Broken Isles before Thrall had arrived there, and even before the Murlocs began to attack. From birth, Zol had shown a potential for using the spirits of the Loa and voodoo magics to heal or harm those as he sees fit. At first Zol'jock was taught how to harm those with his gift from a High Priest of the tribe. Zol'jock was able to master his abilities to harm fairly quickly, and he began to help the tribe with hunting. Zol had just begun to learn how to use his potential to heal others, when the Murlocs began to attack.

II.The Attack of the Murlocs and Humans and the Arrival of the Orcs

Zol's teacher died in the initial waves of the first Murloc attack. Zol was deeply saddened by this, but he felt that the Darkspear needed his help, so he answered his call of duty. Zol began to aid the Darkspear with their fight against the murlocs.

One year later, after many vicious battles, Thrall and his Orcs arrived on the Broken Isles and began to assist the trolls with pushing back the Murlocs and Kul Tirassian's humans (which were attacking the Trolls along with the Murlocs). Zol became interested with these newly allied creatures and was glad for their assistance.

Once the Murloc threat had significantly been weakened, Thrall, Vol'jin, Zol'jock, and the other Darkspear Trolls and Orcs set out onto the sea to begin their journey to the new land of Kalimdor.

III.Kalimdor and the Attack of Admiral Proudmoore.

Once the Darkspear finally arrive in Durotar, Vol'jin established the new Darkspear home on Echo Isles. Zol'jock was glad to be at a new place that seemed 'less hostile'. Everything was going smoothly for the Trolls and Zol, until Admiral Proudmoore and his fleet reared its ugly head.

Zol'jock fought with the Orcs and Trolls to reclaim Echo Isles. Zol was terribly wounded in these battles, but was saved by Thrall's forces. Zol'jock has liked the Orcs ever since.

With the help of the Orcs, Echo Isles was finally reclaimed much to the joy of Zol and his Trollish brothers.

IV.Zalazane's Betrayal

Although Echo Isles had finally been reclaimed, all was not well within. Zalazane, an insane Witch Doctor, began to enslave the minds of the Darkspear. Zol'jock lost many of his closest friends to this madman's mind control, and began to lose his mind as well. (Partly because of old age, partly because of losing so many that he cared for at one time). In one instant, Zol'jock's mind became corrupted with hate, as he blamed his own people for his own insanity.

V.Zol'jock's Escape

As Vol'jin once again ordered the retreat of Echo Isles, Zol'jock only felt more hatred towards his own people. Zol could not believe that the Darkspear did nothing about Zalazane, nothing to save his friends. As soon as the Darkspear had sucessfully escaped Echo Isles once again, Zol decided to leave his people. However, because of his newly corrupt and insane mind, Zol did not know what to do. He decided that it would be best if he dealt with Zalazane himself when he ever got prepared for the task. Until then, he would try to make a new life in the strange lands of Kalimdor.

Current History

I.Zol'Jock's New Calling

One day, while out exploring for dark places to lurk in, Zol'jock strolled into a -particularly- dark place. This place was called the 'Catacombs' and was home to the group known as "The Heretic Circus". As he stumbled around the large, maze-like caverns, he stumbled upon a Human, that he learned later went by the nickname of "Bones". "Bones" asked of Zol intentions and goals, to which he did reply with mentionings about "Doin' woteva da fock" he wanted to do and about how he was not afraid of killing nor fighting. What aroused "Bones"'s interest the most was of the fact that Zol liked the darkness and that he was a Shadow Priest.

Before he knew it, Zol had joined the Heretic Circus. It was a sudden and random action, but he had no opposition towards it. "Bones" gave Zol the nickname "Voodoo" and he recruited two others to the Circus cause. These two others became known as "Reaper" and "Shady". "Bones" gave a tour of the large Circus compound to Zol, "Shady", and "Reaper" as they waited for the Circus leader, "Top Hat" (as they called him), to arrive at the compound to give "Bones" any new orders. When "Top Hat" arrived, he promoted "Bones" to a full-fledged researcher in the "Plague Project". Zol, "Shady", and "Reaper", were placed under "Bones"'s direct command by "Top Hat" (This led to a bit of disgust by Zol as he did not want to be ordered around by a Human, but he got over it.). "Shady" was made as "Bones"'s personal guard. Zol and "Reaper" were made as "Bones"'s research assistants.

II.Questions

Zol had been living carefree among The Heretic Circus for several days, until... he met a mysterious Human, by the name of Annabelle, on the field of battle. This human turned out to be a Holy Priest, much to the disgust of the already "human-hating" Zol. During the fight, the two got into an arguement over hate. Zol told the Human that he hated all Humans and that he wanted to see them all suffer for the harm that they had caused to him and his people. Anna told Zol that hate consumed him, that it -controlled- him. Zol became outraged at this, saying that he could control his hate. He was in denial. Anna told Zol that revenge would not help his people, nor bring back the dead. Zol acknowledged that this maybe true. Anna told him about healing and the light. She told him to -heal- not harm. This bugged Zol, even after the fight was over (Anna was KO'd by Zol). "Cud dis 'uman be right?" He wondered. "Am ah 'rong?". He shook away his worries for the time being, but his mind occasionally thought back to what Anna had told him.

III.Turning Point

It had been a few days since Zol's first run-in with Annabelle. He had forgotten almost all she told him, he even forgot her face. Her vison of Zol turning from the Shadow and towards the light, was merely a glimmer in his mind.

Having nothing to do, Zol headed to Ratchet to find Humans that he could kill, torture, capture, scare, etc. To his surprise, upon arriving in Ratchet, he met a Human by the name of Tekla. The surprising thing about this Human, was that she actually -liked- Trolls. She never even threatened to kill Zol! Zol, being interested in this strange human, joined her in search for muffins. (She was looking for more muffins, because she gave the last one that she had to Zol). Zol and Tex, as she liked to be called, wandered outside Ratchet, coming upon a lone house. Zol and Tex checked the house, but found no sign of any muffins being there, nor any sign of the Muffin Baker that Tex had said was there. Once the two got a closer view of the house, from the outside, Zol found Anna standing there. The two exchanged words (angry words in Zol's case) and soon, the two began to fight. Anna managed to crush Zol's willpower in the fight, by dodging almost everyone of his attacks, and by vowing not to hurt Zol, no matter what. Zol agreed to listen to Anna, his will to fight her words, crushed.

IV.A Student's Plea:The Capturing of Haim Fizzlemink

Zol'jock has been on the path to redemption for several days following his battle with Annabelle Greene. Zol'jock became Anna's student to learn the ways of the Light. Zol was told that in order to fully redeem himself, he must leave the The Heretic Circus behind. This was met by a dismayed response. There was one person in the whole Heretic Circus, that Zol felt bonded to. This person was Haim Fizzlemink. Zol did not know why he felt this way, why he felt like he had befriended Haim. Yet he knew that he wanted to save Haim from his darkness, just as Anna had done for Zol. Zol asked Anna if freeing Haim was possible. Anna told him that it -was- possible, but it would take a couple of weeks, and that there was a risk that Haim might die. Zol concluded that the risk was worth saving his friend. Zol and Anna went about their business for several more days, awaiting a chance to capture Haim.

One day, Anna and Zol were in the Barrens. Anna was called to help a Blood Elf by the name of Reigen, and her friend. Unfortuneatly, when the two arrived, Reigen's friend was dead. Zol wanted to dispose of the body by throwing it into the sea, but Anna told him not too. Anna said that she would be able to bring him back to life in one week. Everyone agreed to this, and the body of the Elf was taken to a safe place. Just when everyone thought that all was well, a familiar face appeared behind Zol. Haim greeted Zol, calling him his old friend, much to the dismay of Zol. He scolded Haim for being there, saying that if he stayed, he would be killed. Haim shrugged off the danger. Haim and Zol exchanged words. Zol told Haim about his change of pathes and how Haim needed to stop his Fel addiction. This made Haim very angry, and a battle between him and Anna, Don Bronco, and Zol had begun. The battle ended surprisingly quickly, and Haim was captured. Haim was taken to Fray Island, the new Autumn headquarters, and his treatment had begun. Haim would be restrained, unable to cast spells, for several weeks under the watchful eye of Zol'jock.
