History

Being brought up through his early years, Haim had been cared for by his Dwarven "Care taker" named Kori Stoneskin. The Caretaker was a sturdy specimen, she had the features of most of the other Dwarfish women, she was quite burly but she tended to hide it when in Haim's presence. Unfortunately Haim had developed parental issues between Kori and his Birth parents seeing that he had been raised more by Kori then his Biological Parents.

Haim's parents (Alexandra Fizzlemink and Owen Fizzlemink) were Engineers in deep Gnomeregan which gave them hardly a moments rest, they missed many of the features of their child's progress as he grew older. Haim wanted his parents to raise him like most of his peers, causing a state in which trusting Kori over his own flesh and blood. As he grew through his childhood Kori had noticed that Haim had an exceptional talent at learning things at a great haste, soon to be introduced to the widely known art of the Arcane. Studying the Arcane Tomes while still in childhood was found quite a peculiar feature (Even for a Gnome!), and yet Haim found more interest in the Tomes then he did doing all his peers had been doing (Enjoying Childhood). He grew as he studied and begun to understand how to manipulate the things around him, Kori had found that Haim's skill had to be recognized and had introduced him to a darker type of magic. It had seemed that Kori had ties with a small circle of Warlocks from the Depths of Ironforge and Gnomeregan, and saw that Haim could be an Asset to their devious plans. Haim was only just submitting to Adulthood by this time and craved power, but Haim had learned how to control his hungers and fled back to his quarters.

From here he knew only that Kori and her "associates" were compromised and the only way to keep his mouth shut was if they had killed him. So within a moment he began to pack supplies, he packed light and left without a note or a word of goodbye in hopes that Kori wouldn't use his parents to find out where he had gone. After fleeing the city and making his first appearance on the surface he was bewildered, he did not know how to react to sunlight for the first time so he kept to the shade and traveled to the nearby town of Kharanos. Here he heard of the "Second war" which had concluded only two months ago, his keen interest on these invading armies made him want to enlist himself but he was no soldier.

Haim made his keep by doing cheap parlor tricks for the drunken Dwarves at the Kharanos tavern which interested a certain veteran mage, a large human with incredibly dark skin and white hair had asked where Haim learned his tricks and if he knew any more. Haim answered the man and showed him all of his power, the man showed a keen interest and asked Haim if he would like to study in Dalaran. Haim immediately accepted however not knowing the price. Within a day they had reached Dalaran's walls where Haim soon began his schooling, for a year he had spent behind the walls of Dalaran before he was quickly shipped off to Nethergarde keep in the Blasted Lands.

Haim was confused and was quick to find out that Schooling at Dalaran had a price and service towards the Kirin Tor was the fee. However without question Haim began his service in this stronghold. Fourteen years he had served under the Nethergarde watch looking over the Portal and he has learned a lot from it and from there he had also mustered enough courage to seek out his parents and if need be confront Kori face to face. He left the Keep and headed for the city of Gnomeregan.

He had arrived Home within two days where he found that his parents had still kept their home intact. He awaited his parents arrival until a green mist appeared outside. Haim looked out the window in search of another but instead all he could hear were screams as a toxic green like mist had killed off Gnomes one by one. Haim had looked outside to his horror of large barbaric like monsters trailing close to the building. Haim was extremely scared for his fate parents. He was silent for a moment and then suddenly a crank on the Ventilation shaft behind him could be heard softly until it became louder as if something were crawling through it. Crawled up in the corner Haim had to take action by grabbing his practice wand and aiming it at the shaft. Emerging from the Shaft was a smaller Gnome engineer and a Dwarf with a hood over it's head concealing his or her identity. Haim was ordered to follow the two to safety on the surface, and Haim had never seen the surface for himself in his lifetime. After three grueling hours of rounding up survivors, they had escaped the Perils of the radiation and Troggs and began to escape to Ironforge.

From here he was wrapped in grief and decided to travel back to his new home of Nethergarde keep where he enlisted himself for another four years of service. Which went quickly for Haim until finally finishing his service and now he searches for knowledge in the grand halls of Dalaran.
