Personality

Khelynn is a rather kind and caring woman, xenophobic to outside races but willing to accept their aid if it is to further the Kaldorei progress. Khelynn tends to dislike the Highborne, seeing them as a necessary evil in order for her people to survive. She is rather quick to adapt to any new situation and will persist until the situation has been dealt with. In the presence of her mate or family, Khelynn has a habit to be lazy despite her occupation.

History

Long before Khelynn was born, a Priestess of Elune and a member of the Highborne fell in love. They kept their love a secret for both societies out of fear of repercussions. After some time, she discovered she was pregnant of his child and, once more out of fear of repercussions, the two decided it was best to split up permanently for the safety of their child. Her mother always kept to the story of her mate and the father of her child dying of a disease and buried far away to prevent the disease from spreading.

Khelynn was born nine months later in a small village in Winterspring. Along with other, she learnt how to survive in the cold regions of her home before she was sent out to learn how to survive in the warmer areas surrounding her home, as were her family traditions. During this time, she met a male Kaldorei. Little did she know how important a role this man would play in her life in the future. After she learnt how to survive in the different areas, she joined the Sisterhood, much like her mother.

Here she was taught how to properly worship Elune and wield her abilities. This continued until the War of the Ancients arrived. Khelynn wanted to prove herself and the name of the Stormrunner family and joined up with the Kaldorei Resistance. Here she found the male from earlier in her life again and the two started fighting side by side for every fight she was involved with.

After the war, and the formation of the Watchers, Khelynn too signed up. She worked hard in order to prove herself to her superiors. It wasn't until after the Highborne were exiled that Khelynn joined the ranks of the Wardens, if only as a trainee. During her time as training, Khelynn was put through harsh training sessions in order to protect herself with hand to hand combat, as well as the use of the cloak and different weapons. After her training was complete, she was granted the traditional weapon and armor of the Wardens.

She returned to the surface where she hunted down criminals as her new duty would have her do. During one of her hunts, she found the male from the past again, now a rather powerful Druid, and the two gathered up old memories. She promised whenever she could, she'd return to spend time with him. Over the years that followed, the two fell in love. She continued hunting her targets until she discovered she was carrying his children. Khelynn took up a leave of absence to carry the children to terms and raise them until they could take care of themselves and each other.

Khelynn, soon after her children left the home, returned to her duties as a Warden, spending countless years hunting down criminals as was needed. During one of her hunts she learnt of the War of the Shifting Sands and that her daughter went to fight. Knowing there was nothing she could do about it, she returned to hunting until troubling news reached her ears. Her daughter was heavily wounded and only just left a several day coma and would be sent home. Khelynn made sure to spend as much time as she could with her daughter. Mother and daughter spent some time together until the War of the Shifting Sands was over. This was when her daughter decided she wanted to see more of the world and set out to explore the world. After her daughter left, she returned to full time hunting.

This life continued for many years until the Third War arrived to her home. At first she led her sisters through many skirmishes against the Horde, the Alliance and the Demon armies up until the battle of Mount Hyjal, where she served as a general against the Demons for the second time in her life. After the battle, Khelynn returned to her usual duties as Warden, keeping the lands safe from internal and external threats, her prey now ranging from common criminals to Demons. She never left Night Elven lands for long, only leaving out to neighboring lands on Kalimdor to hunt her prey.
