Race: Blood Elf

Eyes: Fel Green

Scale/Height: 0.87 (Reason being that, he's 5'3. 0.87 looks -closer- to 5'3 than 0.9 does.)

Skills and Abilities

  • Sword Skills: Pretty much as this skill implies, Ereneas is skilled primarily with the blade.
  • I've got bandages!: Eren knows his way around first aid. His skill in this field is mediocre, at best. Don't expect him to be a Dr. Feelgood.
  • I most certainly know some of that…: Ereneas’ magic aptitude has grown some. His knowledge of Arcane has increased a fair amount. Under the mentorship of Adaelyn Fireblossom, he has learnt spells located within the fields of Divination, Enchanting, as well as Trasmutation. Under the tutoring of Fireblossom's guardian, Maelenor Spitfire, Ereneas has learnt quite a the fair sum of fire magic. Note that just about all of what he knows are the bare basics. He doesn't use them -too- much else it'd drain him more than it should, since he isn't very skilled.
  • The pointy end is the wand!: As this says, Ereneas primarily channels his fire magic through his blade.
  • Helping Hands: Ereneas has learnt to conjure up a single familiar from the Arcane. This is similar to Adaelyn's familiar, in that it is meant for menial tasks only, bearing absolutely no use in combat.

Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Ereneas, reflecting his profession, now garbs himself in cloth. His days of wearing leather are behind him. While he sticks to wearing reds primarily still, just…-what- he wears can vary depending on what he’s found in his travels.

Personality

Ereneas is at first glance, either a rather stubborn elf, or as someone one said, a woolgatherer. These two are both rather evident qualities of the young man, though none are often prevalent. He tries rather hard to be polite or pleasant company for his friends and family, as well as to remain calm in a given situation be it good or bad. He might make a few sarcastic quips but ultimately, it can be seen that he means well. One particular way to earn the elf's trust? Give him something sour. Yes, Ereneas' penchant for citrus fruits and sour things is quite strong.

History

The woefully dull (to some) tale of Ereneas Skyfire begins in Dalaran, 30 years ago. He was born to a striving mage for a mother and…well, it'd be a bit unfair to say his father was a deadbeat, but Ereneas' father did not know of his existence until -much- later in life. His mother was going to leave to partake in the First War when she discovered she was pregnant with the little redhead. Upon discovery of this, she flocked to Dalaran to have the child and resume her studies either way. The child grew up to be a rather shy person, and his mother was too embroiled within her studies to actually pay attention to the boy. Needless to say, life progressed slowly for little Ereneas. Though one notable thing that occurred during his childhood was at the age of 7. After being harassed and thrown into the fountain, a human about the same age as him chased his tormentors away. Needless to say, the two became fast, and best friends. Throughout that time, he never really took an interest to magic, though he learnt how some spells worked and their effects, and such.

Though, after 16, things began to go downhill. His friend's grandfather, her caretaker, passed away quietly in his sleep. His friend departed Dalaran shortly after that, leaving only a cake and a note that said sorry for Ereneas. Though it took a while, he carried on with life. Well, at least for four more years.

Then came the Fall of Quel'thalas, which Ereneas was unlucky enough to be in. The young elf managed to get away with his life. What followed was an attempt to fend for himself, considering he had no other family to turn to that he knew of. This stems from the fall of Dalaran coming after Quel'thalas' fall, and Ereneas assumed his mother dead afterwards.

Though he was not as reliant on Arcane as the other survivors of Silvermoon, the pains and the pangs of the addiction was still there. After the transition to the Fel was made, Ereneas had decided to find some training in the sword. Luckily for him, there was at least one willing to take him under their wing. He did find he had some skill in the sword and, much to his own surprise as well as his mentor's, the bow. On top of that, he learnt basic survival skills as well as mediocre first aid skills. Eventually, he bid farewell to his mentor and set off on his own.

This decision has taken him many places, and has found him friends of all kinds, as well as reunited him with a few people from the past.

Within recent events, one of the aforementioned people from the past, specifically the one person he could call his friend during his childhood, Wende Kraus, had gone missing. After a short period of worrying, Eren bade a temporary farewell to his friends at the time to search for his lost human friend.

During this time, he also chose to attempt to learn his way around the Arcane a second time, and during a trip to Dalaran and scouring some libraries, he came into contact with Adaelyn Fireblossom, who actually offered to tutor the young elf. The sorceress’ offer was accepted, and Ereneas became her student, with some side tutoring from her guardian, Maelenor Sptfire.

He’s still looking for Wende, and as far as anyone knows, this is proving to be somewhat of a fault, as Wende had disappeared without a trace. Where do you even start when you’re trying to find your lover who’s disappeared without a trace?

Why, you start combing the...no, not a desert. Searching and searching brought fruition and quite the hefty sum of pain. He found Wende, yes, but they had to split up on account of a group of Forsaken she was working with. This would be fine and dandy if said Forsaken hadn't tried killing them months prior, and the shock of discovering someone he had actually trusted that didn't work on a ship was working with these people was just a tad much for Eren. Yes, they tried killing him again. Yes, he got out alive, with Wende's help.

And yes, he left her to whatever punishment they had for her. He remained bitter about it for quite a while, and remained adrift in the world for a few weeks, slowly recovering and returning to his usual dry-witted self, as well as returning to his friends. Though, any and all mention of Wende will quickly anger him.
