  • Transmuter - Adaelyn is specialized in the Transmutation school of magic. Some of her feats under this would being able to teleport to farther distances, casting the spell in rapid sessions, or the spell having lasted a longer duration of time.
  • Detect Illusion Magic - Adaelyn can detect simple Illusion spells through Divination.
  • Scrying - Adaelyn uses reflective surfaces such as mirrors or crystals to scry for people or places she has seen or been to before. She can even look for what another person is searching for with their help, but this takes a lot of effort from the person.
  • Enchanted Melee Weapon - Adaelyn has gone beyond enchanting simple household items to move on their own, going farther with melee weapons. She is able to control the weapon at a distance through a connection between the weapon itself and a wand.
  • Conjure Familiar - Adaelyn is able to conjure one of three familiar stones: Water, Fire, or Arcane. The familiar summoned helps with menial tasks, having no use on the combat field.

Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Adaelyn wears clothing that would clearly show her representation of being a Blood Elf. They are in no way simple looking in design, usually red with golden embroidery. A staff would be on her back and a sword would be at her hip. She has a brown pouch attached to her belt.

Other: She hides runic tattoos underneath her clothes. They are on her back, thighs, and her shoulders. She has a mole under her right eye.

Personality

Adaelyn has a superiority complex, believing mages and those who have a vast amount of knowledge of magic are the best. She has a great disdain for Necromancers and Warlocks, seeing their dark path as a disgrace to all magic users. She is not a fan of nature, finding it strange how a person would rather be one with it than magic.

She puts on airs when around someone who is clearly a non-magic user, having a permanent poker face and speaking in a polite tone. She may be quite rude and seem apathetic in this state. While in the presence of someone who positively matches one of her beliefs, she drops her poker face to reveal her emotions, becoming casual with the person. She is cheerful and acts somewhat childish, a smile usually on her face.

She is an ally of her people and a friend to those who are affiliated to the ways of Arcane magic. Despite Silvermoon being aligned with the Horde, she still maintains her past Alliance friendships through the Kirin Tor, mainly Humans and Gnomes. She used to shun the Night Elves due to history, but has become quite curious of the Highborne and those who want to learn the path of a mage. Although the Forsaken are close with her people, she tries not to associate with them due to her contempt of Necromancy.

History

Adaelyn Fireblossom was born as Laerah Silverbright to two Magisters. She had a true affinity for magic at a young age, making her parents proud, but wary of her determination in fear she may abuse her power. They limited her studies of magic, pushing her to know more about the world. Yet, she managed to get her hands on tomes right under her parents' noses, studying in secret.

During the time of formation of the Farstriders, she decided to move away from Quel'thalas to Dalaran. There she became a student and eventually an assistant of an Archmage. It was rumored they were romantically inclined, but was proven false when Laerah turned him in to the Council for dabbling in darker magics. It was true she greatly admired him, but that was before he revealed his experiments to her.

After the Archmage fiasco, she returned to Quel'thalas to rejoin her family. Her parents retired from their career, moving out of Silvermoon City into the country. They were going through a nature phase, limiting their magical abilities. This did not settle well with her, causing her to live in Silvermoon and cutting her ties with her family until they decided to come back to their senses. She was inducted into the Magisters, breezing through the ranks until she reached Arcanist. She only had slight authority with the title and she was determined to go beyond it to reach Magistrix. She finally reached her goal after many years of pursuit.

In the beginning of the Second War, she was slightly disturbed when her people only sent out a pittance of their forces for the war effort. She worried the war would eventually come up to Quel'thalas because of this action. Her worries turned into reality as the borders were attacked, her parents losing their lives. She immediately put herself into action while mourning the loss of her family, fighting against the enemy until they were pushed out. She made close friends within the Alliance during and after the war, maintaining them while she lived peacefully in Silvermoon.

The peaceful living ended when the Scourge invaded Quel'thalas. She tried to save as many lives as she could while protecting her own. The remaining survivors and herself were devastated with the loss of their friends, family, and people. Yet, that wasn't the end of it, their magical addiction growing to cause them to suffer more. She thought of her parents, glad they did not have to experience the events.

When Magister Rommath returned to Quel'thalas to teach them magic siphoning, she was disgusted by the practice and refused to assimilate into the new culture. She was removed from the Magisters and exiled like the rest who refused to siphon magic from living creatures. Sinking into a depression concerned by her choice, she went took refuge in Stormwind's Mage Quarter. She was consoled by her friends in Stormwind until they suggested for her to return to Dalaran that now floated over Northrend. She dedicated herself to the Kirin Tor, trying to keep her mind off of her depression.

Once Kael'thas Sunstrider was defeated, the Blood Elves began seeking representation in Dalaran. This peaked her interest, seeing Vereesa Windrunner form the Silver Covenant who opposed the Blood Elves. As much as she wanted to join the Silver Covenant, her heart was not completely into it. She recalled the siphoning magic, performing it to show how she wanted to switch sides. Taking the Blood Elf name, she draped herself in red and dyed her hair. She renamed herself as well, becoming Adaelyn Fireblossom. She joined the Sunreavers when they were formed, to further prove how she was now once again with her people. Initially, she was not trusted, but over time while under surveillance of the Sunreavers, she was able to gain some trust to at least go back to her homelands. She continued to do more more work to further prove she apart of the Blood Elves, fighting against their foes, even people who were once her friends.

Now with the threat of Deathwing, she tries her best to support the Blood Elves and their allies.
