Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Elina's usual garment changes depending on the situation. However, she feels most at home in a set of full leather covering most of her small, petite frame. During more official meetings, she wears a nicely tailored red dress and a matching hat.

Other: Elina usually has a knife strapped to her calf as a last resort weapon. She also has an army of dolls in her room, many of which are completely custom made just for her.

Personality

Elina is a very accepting, if shy, member of society, having learnt to accept from her both her fathers. She much prefers to stick to the metaphorical shadows, yet when needed, Elina will pick up her weapons and fight till death for her people, family and friends. She holds her own code of honour, “Never kill an innocent. Never fight an unarmed opponent. Poisons are last resort weapons.” The scars of the Third War, even a decade later, are still fresh on her mind. She will treat undead, be they Forsaken, Death Knights or other, with distrust, dislike and a hint of fear.

History

Elina was born to a pair of very poor and very small Sin'dorei, a child with Heterochromia, a blue left eye and a purple right eye. Shortly after her birth, her mother died. Her father barely had enough money to even stay alive himself and as such, Elina was dropped off at an orphanage mere days after her birth.

She lived her for a year before she was adopted by Lord Leron Silverfang and his husband, Salor Silverfang. Growing up with two fathers, Elina became a very accepting member of Quel'dorei society. From an early age, she was trained in both art of combat and acting by her fathers.

Yet, with her small and relative frail frame, she never became any good. Just... average. And it stung Elina. To enhance her abilities and to make her parents proud, Elina started studying under a Mage in the arts of Arcane. She became quite the skilled Mage for her age. But it wasn't enough for her and she started mixing swordsmanship and the Arcane. She mixed the two in such a way that she was faster than the average swordsman, and harder to catch. Sadly, her mixing the two together cost her much time to study other areas of the Arcane.

As months and years passed, she found herself a mentor to train in just that type of combat. With his techniques, her small frame and her knowledge on the Arcane, the two trained and her skill grew. Once he deemed Elina ready for it, he started teaching her less savoury ways to win her fights. Poisons and venoms. While she knew she would most likely not use them, she knew the knowledge on how to make them could come in handy one day, as well as knowing how to make the antidotes.

Life was simple for the young Elf, practicing during the day and studying at night, often falling asleep at her desk and waking up in her bed, thanks to one of her fathers. But this simple life was not to last when the Scourge attacked! Awoken by the harsh reality of the sudden attack during one of her training sessions, Elina was told to run to her family to safety. Yet, in the chaos, the Elf lost her way in the city she was able to navigate blindfolded. All her roads were cut off by fighting and unable to find her family, she decided to leave Silvermoon behind completely.

The lack of Arcane energies hit Elina hard and she fell very ill and depressed. Her once nice life turned into a hell. She barely managed to keep up with the other refugees due to her illness, often falling behind. This was, until she was picked up by a rather strong Sin'dorei and carried just about anywhere. No matter how sick Elina was, how much she coughed or threw up, her new friend didn't care.

After months of sickness and drifting on the back of her friend, slowly losing muscle in the process, they learnt of Silvermoon being rebuilt and returned home. Here, she found her family and something she never expected to help her. The Fel. She stood for a choice. Fel or sickness and depression... She chose the former and was cured of her illness. Yet her once blue and purple eyes turned a Fel green colour. She disliked it but knew it had to be done if she wanted to live and escape her hell.

She surived and thrived, as much as she could. Life returned to being simple again, but the scars forever on her mind. Elina returned to her practice, picking up a second weapon to increase her effiency. Reports reached her ears about the Cataclysm. Yet, her people unaffected by it, she decided to let it slide, letting the war play out while she trains and assists her family anyway she can.

Skills and Abilities

Poisons and antidotes: Elina has practiced both poisons and their respective antidotes. With a wide variety of herbs, she can make a wide variety of poisons, including those who kill fast and painless and those who can kill slow and painful. She also knows how to make the antidotes to all of these poisons. Each poison has its own symptoms, and through examining symptoms, Elina can make the proper antidotes.

Arcane Rogue: Elina has practiced both the Arcane and swordsmanship and combined the two. She possesses the standard Rogue skills through Arcane magic rather than Shadow.

Actress: As per family tradition, Elina has learnt how to take on different personas. Knowing almost all the tricks of the trade, Elina can spot when someone acts. Considering acting, in a way, is lying to one another and to the audience, she can also spot those who lie rather easily thanks to her acting lessons. (OOC permission will be asked beforehand) In front of larger audiences, she suffers from stagefright.

Small Frame: Both Elina's real parents were small Sin'dorei, as were her birth-grandparents. This causes Elina to be small, even for a Sin'dorei. While faster and harder to hit, she is unable to lift heavier objects and faster to go down. (Rules in combat will be discussed OOCly before actual combat.)
