Personality

Draven isn't exactly the friendly type. He doesn't ask questions when it's needed, he just executes orders. Though, he doesn't take orders from many people, only from those who pay him enough. Other than that he hates –all- life on Azeroth and Outland. That's understandable, but there's no sane explanation for his disgusting fetish for devouring rats. It's not uncommon to see him randomly grab a rat, kill it, skin it and eat it. Others might definitely find that repulsive, but he doesn't care as he doesn't even care for his life as he has nothing to lose.

History

Draven on duty.

Born in Stratholme Draven saw Arthas with his army and Malganis along with the undead hordes destroy his city of birth. His mother was dead before she was even able to get out of bed and his father tried to lead Draven and his sister Sharon out of the city to safety, but he was hit by an archer's arrow. Draven swore at his father's dead body that he shall avenge his death and punish all those responsible. While Draven was swearing to avenge his father's death his sister ran away to hide in the woods. He followed her and saw that Sharon was caught by bandits. He tried his best to fight the bandits off and save her, but he was too young to fight against a group of grown men. Injured Draven was left there to die.

A few hours later he was found by a loner named Acmeriss who took him to his house and took care of his wounds, fed him and provided Draven with shelter. Later on, when Draven's wounds healed the loner started to train him how to use a sword, how to survive in the wild. Taught how to hunt and prepare a meal for himself Draven would set out deeper into the woods each morning only to return late in the evening. And just like that he was going further and further away from his new home. A few years have passed till one evening when Draven returned he found his teacher dead. He didn't die from the hand of an enemy, but from something much more terrible – old age. He buried his teacher next to his father's grave because by now the teacher had become Draven's family.

After praying for his dead teacher he decided that he didn't want to die like his teacher. Alone. Draven packed Acameriss' old things; his armor, his blade and shield and set out to find his long lost sister.

The search his sister seemed endless and hopeless as Draven traveled across the plague ravaged Eastern Kingdoms. Not having anything to pay for sleeping in the inns Draven would sleep in the streets with rats. Getting food was easier on the other hand. Rats were easy to catch and oh so tasty for him. The cruel real world forced Draven to turn into a miserable thief and forget about honor and the promise he made to his dead father.

Living like that he quickly gathered the fortune he needed, so much that he could simply quit thievery and live a normal life, but he couldn't stop. Now he lived for stealing.

Remarkably, one day Draven discovered a trace to his sister's whereabouts, which lead to a noble's harem. Following the trace Draven got to a huge estate which belonged to Algerios. After observing the estate for one day in the near by woods Draven decided to act and made his way up the estate's wall late at night. He climbed through a window right into Algerios' room. After a “friendly” conversation with him he found out that his sister had died three years ago in slavery. He was too late. Enraged Draven killed Algerios with his bare hands. Something snapped in Draven's mind, he understood what cruel animals Humans can be. It drove him mad and he began to hate the world for it's cruelty and chaos, yet it didn't turn him into a pacifist. Unfortunately Draven was captured, but he bribed the guards into letting him go.

His deed didn't go unnoticed by some shifted thieves that had spies in that estate and soon Draven was approached by one of them named – Matheos. He offered to teach Draven the art of killing because he had somewhat of a potential, but it came with a big price. Draven had to part with most of his fortune, barely having anything left he used what was left of his money and bought new armor and a weapon to start a new life of a gun for hire.
