Skills and Abilities

  • Sleepless in Undeath: Since her death, Tia rarely, if ever, sleeps. She doesn't need to, nor want to.
  • A Blade is a Woman's Best Friend: Since her death and resurrection at the hands of the Scourge, Tia's favoured weapon has become a large two handed blade.
  • That's My Secret, I'm Always Hungry: Tia tends to keep her Hunger to a level in which she can feel it and keep it down properly. When she needs to fight, she no longer keeps herself in check, releasing all her Hunger on her enemies.
  • Orcish: Tia's father was a trader and an ambassador with the neighbouring Orcs. She occasionally accompanied him, picking up quite a bit of the language.
  • Metal Legbone: Tia's right leg broke upon her death and her bone was replaced by a new, metal one, rendering it stronger than the average leg.

Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Tia has multiple sets, though one more used than the other. An often used set is a leather set that allows for more movement and, in fact, more comfortability. A less used set is a full dark plate set with a cassock. The latter is only worn when Tia is actively seeking or expecting a fight.

Other: Tia misses a chunk of her left cheek. This can't be healed due to the Fel energies that mutated the direct skin around it.

Personality

Personality: Tia is, at first glance, a lone, depressed Draenei. Tia is an scared Draenei, occasionally suffering from, apparently unprovoked, panic attacks. She fears that even her closest friends will betray her.

Once one gets closer to Tia, she could develop into a neutral, perhaps even happy woman. Or a hateful woman seeking your end, depending how she is treated herself. Tia has an intense fear of water that is deeper than her own hoof due to it having caused her death.

Tia carries a hatred for the Orcs, believing them nothing but mindless beasts intend on destroying worlds, like they have destroyed hers.

Tia feels like she has failed the Naaru and the Light with her death. Her death and resurrection at the hands of the Scourge have made her lose her own faith in the Light and the Naaru. She still accepts the Light but does not preach it or follow it anymore.

History

Tia was born in the last few years the Oshu'gun drifted through the nether to a couple of Anchorites. When they arrived on Draenor, her father became a trader and an ambassador to the neighbouring Orcs. She joined on his trips to the nearby Orcs when her father decided to trade with them. She learnt the Orcish language as well as her own. Her training with the Light and the Naaru started a few years before the slaughter of her people started.

Life was easy for the young Draenei until one faithful birthday. Her father left to trade with the neighbouring Orcs, just as always, promising her a gift when he returned. Tia waited for her father, enjoying the party thrown for her. Yet... her father never returned. Suddenly the entire village became a cacaphony of noises, screams, weapons clattering and buildings crumbling. Tia ran outside to see the green skinned Orcs drive Draenei to the center of the village and surrounding the village. She saw her father, bloodied and beaten, amongst the prisoners. One by one, the Draenei were executed. Just as it was her father's turn, two hands grabbed Tia and pulled her away, telling her not to watch. Yet Tia did watch and she never forgave the Orcs for it. It was her mother, pulling her into the ruins of one of the many buildings.

They hid within the ruins for days until the last of the Orcs left the village, leaving behind nothing but corpses of the executed. Tia and her mother gathered all the bodies, knowing they couldn't bury all of them and decided to burn them all. It may not have been the most traditional, but it was a last farewell.

After the fire was started, they left for Shattrath. They arrived just as the city was preparing for war. Any capable body was to fight while the rest fled, giving the Orcs the illusion of a full victory over the Draenei. This was when Tia and her mother lost each other. Tia fled and hid until the storming of the Tempest Keep. Here she served tending to the Draenei that got wounded during the fighting.

After the fight was over, the Sin'dorei sabotaged the engines, forcing the Exodar to crash land on Azeroth. Tia survived the crash with little injuries, only a broken arm. She found a new Anchorite to teach her the ways of the Light. The Draenei needed allies and supplies and so they started travelling together. Tia to learn the virtues and how to manipulate the Light better.

They eventually arrived within the Plaguelands. Not the first Draenei to arrive but a strange sight none the less. The two travelled through the Plaguelands when they walked right into an ambush. One of the attackers was an Orc Warlock. A vicious fight ensued and he eventually jumped her. He had attempted to end her life forever but Tia managed to avoid death, but not the stab. She lost a part of her cheek and almost her life. Tia was saved by her mentor knocking the Orc out. Soon enough, however, her mentor was dying in front of her. She told Tia to save her energies to fend for herself. Shortly after, Tia's mentor died. The sounds of battle attracted the Scourge to their location. Tia's heart sank as she saw the hordes upon hordes of undead racing towards her, not wanting to die, she turned around and ran away as quickly as her legs could carry her. The Draenei reached a shoreline after some time, unable to swim, she decided that if she were to die, she'd die fighting.

Outnumbered and with only the Light at her side, Tia fought as hard as she could, using the holy Light to take out many undeads. One surprised her and clung to her chest. In panic, she took a step back and her right leg got stuck in the ground. As she fell backwards, her leg snapped and and forced itself free from the ground and the Draenei fell into the water. In panic from the water and the undead still clinging to her chest, Tia drowned.

She awoke some time later in Acherus, clad in Saronite armour and her leg bone replaced with a metal one, leaving a large scar. The Draenei was confused but unable to control her own body. She was forced to fight against the Scarlet Crusade. The worst time of her young life. She killed anyone that stood in the way of the Scourge. Immediately after she was freed at the Light Hope Cathedral, Tia ran away scared and confused. She left her Saronite armour behind and switched to more comfortable leathers.

Tia started wandering the world without a purpose. It wasn't until the Cataclysm that she was found by the Ebon Blade, taken in and outfitted properly. She eventually decided to leave and to help those in need after the Cataclysm. Currently, the young Draenei wanders to find a place she belongs.
