Appearance

Usual Garments: Theiba prefers simple clothing, and his attire is usually unremarkable save for an antler circlet he occasionally dons. He possesses ceremonial raiment that he wears when acting on behalf of the Cenarion Circle.

Other: Theiba’s build could be described as lean, and he is neither exceptionally tall, nor particularly short. His weathered face is slightly gaunt, the corners of his lips sloping downwards. An oft-seen smile regularly disguises this.

Sweeping outwards across his shoulders, forearms and chest are faded beige tattoos. They seem old, but the lines are still crisp and smooth. The patterns run in jagged, broad strokes and resemble the branches of a tree.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral Good

A man of quiet passion, Theiba takes interest in philosophy and how it applies in the natural world. He likes – and knows a lot of – old proverbs, and has a great deal of respect for the wisdom of the elderly. Though a traditionalist, Theiba’s training as Druid has built for him a mindset that understands the necessity of change and growth.

History

A tradesman and his mate produced Theiba Rhoneldar, whose upbringing was no less typical than any other Kaldorei of the age, and he spent most of his boyhood either in the company of the small community that contributed to his care or the forest that protectively cocooned their village in the vicinity of Moonglade. A brilliantly-coloured flower garden marked the site of the family’s humble home, which crept over the house proper and made for a picturesque scene.

The delicate beauty of those flowers and the harmony with which they coexisted alongside the wisp’s work was a balance that Theiba desired to preserve. He was taken under the wing of a reverently ancient Druid of the Grove from a very young age, and his tutor – an elf whose skin had taken the rough consistency of bark over time, though his thick, bushy beard was still a verdant green – introduced him to the soporific embrace of the Emerald Dream.

Theiba’s dreams were cut short, and he awoke reluctantly to the invasion of the Burning Legion. In the organisation of the resistance effort, the still-inexperienced Druid fell into the ranks of the Cenarion Circle, wherein he conferred with Druids more knowledgeable than himself and contributed what he could to the defeat of Archimonde – though his place was far from the battlefield itself, and he tended the wounds of the injured and fallen. Theiba regretted that he would not live as long as his elders, and would never grow to be as wise a Druid as them, but he came to accept the necessity of it. Azeroth was fast becoming a world not for the likes of eternal things.

The scar left on the land was so severe that the Druids had opted to remain awake, working to undo the damage caused by the Legion’s invasion. Theiba had grown accustomed to working alongside the younger races, having gotten to know an assortment of individuals from his time serving as a cleanser. Even the gentle giants known as Shu’halo were no longer unfamiliar, and it was no surprise when one was awarded the rank of Arch Druid.

From then on, Theiba maintained close contact with the Cenarion Circle. Pledged to their cause, and the restoration of land tainted and damaged, he undertook operations and organised them where and as he was able.
