Personality

Irogh is a proud Orc who desires to contribute to the New Horde. He feels the greatest honor can be achieved by helping others. Irogh has a deep reverence for the Ancestors and Spirits as taught by the Frostwolf Shamans. While he understands the tainted history behind the other clans, he doesn't show any prejudice. Each Orc individually either supports the Horde, or doesn't. Irogh thinks each Orc is on his own path, regardless of what clan he hails from. The events surrounding the Cataclysm has driven Irogh to better himself as a Shaman.

History

Irogh is son of Irkog Beardslicer. "Beardslicer" earned his name in the current conflict with the Stormpike dwarves. He felled a dwarf with a single strike with his war-axe. In the process conveniently giving the dwarf a shave. There was a strong push for shamans in the Frostwolf community, so that is the path Irkog set his son on.

For Irogh's Om'riggor he was tasked with traveling the wilderness and not returning until he communed with the spirits. The details were unclear, but Irogh was eager to prove himself. He set off with just a few items; A simple hatchet, a bottle of Elemental Sapta and warm clothes. He wandered for what seemed like days in the frigid Alterac Valley. It was harsh trying to hunt and keep warm by himself. He used the solitary environment to meditate, but even that was difficult with the shivering. One evening he heard wild barking and growling. Images of little orclings, a traveling merchant, or some other helpless victim of a rabid frostwolf passed through his imagination. Irogh stopped in his tracks as he bounded over the last hill. In the valley below trapped in a nook was a frostwolf and to his surprise, cubs. As Irogh slid down the hillside the answer to his questions came into view. It was a lesser Water Elemental though it took on a greenish hue, a sure sign of corruption. The young Orc's adrenaline began pumping and the world around the area seemed to fade away like tunnel vision. Irogh reasoned this was his test sent by the Ancestors.

The frostwolf shot the charging Orc a glance as his axe began to shimmer with frost. The pair fought for just a couple minutes, but it seemed like hours to the mother frostwolf. They both pelted each other with frost and ice between the melee as they danced amid a blizzard. It was an even match for a few moments but it was soon clear; The Orc was going to lose. Irogh pleaded with the Spirits and managed to freeze a portion of the Elemental. The frostwolf saw this opportunity and flanked the Elemental as the Orc charged again. Mid-stride and like in slow-motion, Irogh watched the wolf charging as well. She was graceful yet ran with confident power. In a flurry of ice, claws and axe the Elemental was defeated. Exhausted the young Irogh fainted and collapsed into the snow.

Irogh woke a few hours later surrounded by the frostwolf and cubs. Sure he would of froze otherwise, Irogh gave thanks to the spirits for their protection. The frostwolf traveled with Irogh back to the village. With the frostwolf in tow the village shamans listened to his story and deemed it worthy. Irogh named the wolf matron Lohn'sh and they were inseparable after that day.

It's been a few years since that day. Tales of wars, splintering factions and the need for skilled warriors has finally drove Irogh out of his home village and set off for Orgrimmar. He wishes to prove himself to the Horde, earn a name for himself and bring glory to the Frostwolf Clan. However, Irogh is worried about the Horde's direction with the new Warchief. He's especially wary of the Forsaken's aggressive campaign and avoids them when he can.

Skills and Abilities

Irogh is a budding Enhancement Shaman. In battle he prefers to use Frostbrand on his axe and Earthliving on his offhand. He's not focused in healing but finds himself needing to help out occasionally, and the boost helps. As far as ranged combat goes he relies on Frost Shock to slow the enemy down. Irogh doesn't prefer use totems as he prefers to keep mobile on the field of battle. He is trained to know every battle is different and specific tactics change. This is what defines a Shaman to Irogh, adaptability. Irogh dabbles in leatherworking as a hobby. He uses it to bolster his armor, protect his frostwolf and to relax.
