Appearance

She is typically decorated in charcoal black armor, highlighted by silver accents. The accents on her gauntlets display an anatomically accurate skeletal hand, her breastplate tracing its iconography back to a stylized ribcage. The skeletal portraiture ends at her belt, her silvered legplates and boots simply displaying sharp geometry. She wears no tabard, a bolt of crimson cloth draping from her girdle and nearly falling to the floor. A golden Blood Knight icon dangles from the center of a chain, hooked to the edges of the cloth at her belt, standing boldly from the crimson fabric.

Other: She bears a crimson tattoo under her right eye, the symbol of the Blood Knights.

Personality

Alignment: Lawful neutral.

Imogen is rigid in her adherence to the Light, she lives by it. If one were to speak ill of the light in her presence her irk would be palpable. Otherwise she is quite simply a mellow person. Little phases her while little excites her either.

History

Imogen was born in the city of Silvermoon to a relatively well-to-do family. She was sheltered quite fiercely in her childhood, perhaps more than other children. The irony present here is that she was kidnapped in her early teens, a victim of random crime.

Her ransom was paid and the woman eventually freed without harm, but the weeks in captivity affected her faith in the authority of Silvermoon. She never chose to rebel against the authority for fear of being chastised or even exiled. Instead she fell in line with the Church of the Light.

Where the authority of Silvermoon failed to protect her the Light seemed to embrace her and gained her undying devotion rapidly. She orated for hours to any who would listen or simply recanted prayer when they chose not to. She made her sisterly vow never to take a mate upon fully joining the church, and her family disowned her for not wishing to carry on their name. She now carries the 'title' "of the Light" in honor of her vow.

At the onset of the second war she traveled with some of the men and women at arms healing as she could while leading the combatants willing to join her in morning and evening prayer.

Early in the defense of Quel'thalas during the Third War, during a particularly grim battle, Imogen was forced to take up the mace of a fallen comrade to defend herself. With her voice still ringing forth the words of the Light she infused each swing of the mace with a righteous fury. In her mind she made a solemn pact with the forces that be that, should she survive, she would continue down this path of retribution. Her glorious action in the face of eradication seemed to inspire those around her, and they did survive that grim battle. Following the action she was fitted in an amalgamation of various armors from fallen comrades so that she might take to the field again, her only training two parts divine intervention, one part dumb luck with a splash of experience.

True to the pact she once made in a desperate gambit to preserve her own life she chose to adhere to this new path, aligning with the Blood Knights as they rose to power. She disapproved of their "corrupted" light, but saw their intents as pure. Though her role in the reclamation of the Sunwell was a minor one, she counts that day among the greatest in her life.

Skills & Abilities

Devotion
Imogen is without fear in battle, charging forward with that knowledge that even if she were to fall, it would be in honor of the light. If the light were to command her to jump, she would ask "How high?" there is nothing that this woman would not do to please the light. She is known to chastise the non believers verbally and physically.

Left Handed
Imogen is left handed, in battle wielding a large mace in her left hand and the glorious banner of her order in her right. This stance might seem awkward to others, but this moment of question works to her advantage. Also, a less experienced combatant may have never faced a lefty, being thrown by the new angle of attacks.

Inspiring Voice
Her voice is ever present on the battlefield, singing hymns or dispatching enemies to the words of a holy prayer. Whether or not the words themselves or the actions involved are inspiring is up for question. (This is my allegory for buffs.)

Towering Height
She can see clear above most enemy combatants, including some men of her own race. This is also a counter point in battle, as her height combined with her lifted heraldry attracts a lot of attention from the enemies. She has sworn to never back away from a challenge in battle, and will combat any willing to issue a challenge with a unique fervor.
