Appearance
He is clad in heavy armor, layered furs, plates, chain, scale and leathers; armor master-crafted for warfare in the cold north. Red tints to his armor, with a rustic heavy tabard with the colors of the Zheleznye Voiny. A long and heavy fur cloak is folded over his armor and covers much of his body. His armor has fur linings, all metals under the plates covered with leather.
Personality
Dmitri is a rational man, business and survival guiding much of what he does. He remains cautious even with his unholy powers, he was a trapper and woodsman, he was a successful one for being cautious. He disdains cowards and traitors; the useless dead weight is something he cannot bear to carry.
In life however, it spills over into his actions at times - valor and occasional kindness can turn into lust and compassion. But for this man, forgiveness is hard to come by, and the ends justify the means for this brutal northern soldier.
History
Born in the 25 years before the opening of the Dark Portal to a poor family in the mountains of Lordaeron, northern Arathi. His father was a miner and his mother was a seamstress. He had three siblings, two of which were his brothers and his dear youngest sister. He was the oldest of the bunch, and did much of the work around the house until he was 14.
He was approached by a passing group of men, young men and a pair of old scarred veterans. One of the veterans had a face, half blackened by frostbite. They were going to get a large band together to head across the ocean to a settlement on the coast of the land dragons went to die.
His family told him stories of the fabled place, and how it must be truly horrible. But the old soldiers convinced him to head there to be a trapper - to live on the most dangerous frontier in the entire world - to be a real man. His family was not too excited with the boy's plan, but the father let him go through with it. Then he was off to the cold north, just a strapping young lad.
Thirty years of survival, combat, nearly dying and exposure to the hell in the north - as well as the brotherhood found in it - he returned to Lordaeron at 45 years old. He arrived a month before the plague truly started ravaging. Dmitri's skills came to his advantage - avoiding the hell he found back home. He fought through the plagued forests and found rank within the Argents. He died on the year 27, the events of Acherus made him into a monstrosity. After the Ebon Blade broke free of the Scourge he gladly went north to fight Arthas - mixing his unholy power with his skills of the North to become an extremely dangerous foe there in the snow.
After the fall of the Lich King, he found himself needing a purpose, and he found it after a meeting with Marshal Falder of the Stormwind Army. He would create an elite force to fight in the northlands to assist Alliance forces deployed there to extract as many natural resources from the continent as he possible can for the glory of the Alliance.
Skills and Abilities
Dmitri is a skilled wilderness survival expert, paired with combat experience and now his unholy control of blood and frost magics. The combination of these skills especially in the cold north gives him combat advantage generally over inexperienced enemies in those lands.
