Personality

He comes of as cold and stern, but if you know him for long enough, you see a different side. A side that is more morose, and full of regret. He puts on a facade of cruelty and heartlessness, but he is troubled inside. He believes in brute force first, with magic second. This is represented in his fighting style, where he uses his axes to pummel down his foes, and only uses magic to turn the tide of battle further. Alagos has a sarcastic and dark sense of humor, but his humor doesn't show up too often. Alagos likes to be called "Brother", to remind him of his past life, how he got his brother killed, and then killed him again. He can be wise, though being alive for 10 300 years, and being fully aware of every moment of it can do that to a person. You can -always- see his breath, and his spit is usually a small hunk of ice, or snow. Alagos can be lazy sometimes, often lacking motivation. He only feels this way about small tasks however.

History

Alagos was born with Silver eyes, and absolutely -no- magical potential. Alagos being 170 years old when his brother was born. Alagos was 270 years of age when the War of The Ancients began, and his younger brother but 100. Alagos wanted to fight, but his mother charged him with caring for his younger brother, as they were not adults yet. His mother and father fought the demons that swarmed, and Alagos tried to keep his brother and himself safe over the course of the war. They were seperate from their parents for the course of the war, and then there was the Sundering. A massive pillar of light shot into the sky, and a massive noise emminated. When Alagos awoke, he managed to get his strength to stand, and run to his brother. They were both alright, and their mother found them after a few days. The war that had corrupted the forests, and shattered everything that Alagos knew, had claimed his father as well.

Some time passed, and the Night Elf society had taken up Druidism, along with his brother. Though Alagos believed in a more military structure, and that:

"Flancing around nice nature spells isn't going to protect this forest from corruption, strength will!"

Alagos refused an offer from his brother to train as a Druid, as he wanted to have a more direct hand in the protection of the forests. His brother soon entered the Emerald Dream, and Alagos and his mother secluded into a small cabin in the middle of nowhere. Alagos trained in how to hunt, and drilled himself repeatedly with weapons training. By this time, the Highborne were being exiled from the lands. Alagos was happy about this, he didn't trust the Highborne, and quite frankly, didn't like them either. He watched one of their boats go across the sea, but his mind was on other things. His mother had fallen ill, and his brother would still be in the Dream for a while. Alagos cared for her all he could, but she eventually passed away. When his brother awoke, he was astonished to find that his mother had died, and at first, refused to speak to Alagos. They had a massive argument, with Alagos on the side of, "Where were -you-? I cared for her!" And his brother saying "Well, apparently not enough!" They were distant for a few years, but after that decided to co-exist once more.

Alagos's brother entered the Dream again, for a few hundred years, and Alagos continued to live a lonely existance, training with his weapons in the middle of nowhere. The Night Elf society had simply drawn into the shadows, healing the forests. Alagos continued to train, and living with his brother when he would awaken, until the Third War started. Alagos convinced his brother that they could fight together, and fight off the Demons this time, maybe save more lives than were lost last time. His brother reluctantly agreed. Alagos joined militia, and his brother, a Druid of the Claw, was right with him. Eventually they were separated, Alagos ran away from his brother to help a random person fight some skeletal fiends, and a demon or so. His brother didn't notice, and was struck by a Felguard. He was dying, slowly, and painfully. "H-Help me... A-Alagos..." His brother managed to squeeze out of his lungs. "I cannot brother, there is no cure for death." Alagos replied, his brother widened his eyes, and inhaled his final breath, before he passed on.

Alagos lived alone, in isolation as usual, after that point. Until he encountered a Night Elf, wearing an odd tabard, black, with a silver symbol on it. The Night Elf presented himself as a member of the Argent Dawn, and swiftly recruited Alagos. Alagos travelled with him over to the Eastern Kingdoms, and was only with the Argent Dawn for two years, before his final battle. He was overwhelmed by a Hulking Abomination, and everything went cold.

Everything was black, he was floating in a sea of horror, playing over every memory that he felt over, and over, and over. Every minute felt like an eternity. Suddenly, he awoke, he felt a cold floor on his face, and was surrounded by men in dark cloaks, in a bleak room. Necromancers they were, and they had raised him as a soldier of the Scourge. He slaughtered innocent people, mindlessly, almost as if he was not swinging his sword, but seeing someone else do it for him. His skin greyed. He was with the Death Knights for seven years. After the events at Light Hope's Chapel, he was free. All his brother Death Knights were freed, and the Ebon Blade was formed.

Alagos then came to terms with what he had become, accepted that he had nothing, not even life. He accepted that he regretted everything he had done. He took his brother's right to live away from him, by abandonning him. He could do nothing as he had watched his mother die. He could do nothing as he did the same thing to innocent people, stripping their loved ones away from them. And he accepted, that he could not change that. He forged two rather large axes, and they became his runeweapons.
