Appearance
Aidan wears plated armor in most situations, favoring medium armors and a larger range of movement. When he's not planning on fighting, he usually wears robes or fine clothing in order to seem more Human. He tries hard to hide his deathly pale skin, but that is difficult.
Personality
Aidan is extremely loyal to the Ebon Blade, focusing all of his efforts on furthering their vengeance against the Scourge and any rogue Death Knights. He at least puts on that he has little conscience to speak of, but will not violate the precepts of the Ebon Blade if at all possible. Aidan would rather coerce his enemies to get information because it's easier to frighten than to seek out other sources, though he rarely uses torture. He will often try to gain his enemy's trust and then kill them rather than risk open assault.
He secretly harbors a desire to return to normal life, to serve the Light and to find an end to his curse. He hides it from his superiors as a sign of shame or weakness, but can lapse in his duties in the pursuit of the last shreds of his past.
History
Aidan was a Paladin in life, a member of the Silver Hand known for little but his zealotry. He was stationed in northern Lordaeron, near Stratholme and the outlying villages. His village was small and under-defended, so when a Lich came to set up his plague cauldron the Paladins were defeated with ease.
Rather than the Light's presence, Aidan woke to the sight of a Lich leering at him. He was a Death Knight now, and, though his purpose was now different, his motivation was the same. After training for the Lich King and Ebon Blade in the way of his new Order, he served well in small ambushes of Scarlet patrols in and around the Plaguelands. His unyielding efforts and indifference to slaughter earned some praise among the Lesser Knights.
When the Ebon Blade broke free, Aidan didn't change. He was zealous in life, zealous in servitude, and now he was zealous in Undeath. He would gladly kill for the vengeance of the Ebon Blade, and under their banner he went again into the world of the living. Instead of marching to Icecrown with his brethren, Aidan was tasked with hunting down rogue Death Knights who were wreaking havoc in the lands of Azeroth. He served a tour later in Northrend towards the end of the campaign against the Lich King, and has only recently returned home under his previous orders: Scout out those who taint the world and sully the name of the Ebon Blade, and destroy them.
