Personality

Zurg's main worry is the survival of his clan and of the Horde. He is very close to his brothers, principally his twin, Durg. He seeks to maintain the family and clan united at all costs.

He has a deep hatred for the Alliance, and distrusts the blood elves, as well as the Forsaken. However, he has some respect for the dwarves and worgen for their strength and ferocity. He also believes the worgen are somewhat blessed by the spirits with their lupine form. He is a bit hot-headed sometimes, and will often choose to use brute force to solve his problems.

History

Zurg was born two years before the Second War to Chieftain Gurg Jawbreaker and one of his many mates, only a few seconds before his twin brother Durg, in the Jawbreaker war camp.

His childhood in the camp did not last for long, though. Soon, the humans were raiding Zurg's home, imprisoning the orcs and locking them in internment camps. Those were the worst years of Zurg's life. He would feel impotent, unable to fight against his human captors, like his father did and died doing. Not only Zurg was a child, but also the lethargy hit. The bloodlust that plagued his race had faded. The only thing he could do was staying close to what was left of his family. And this gave him strength to survive.

It would be only when Zurg was fourteen years old that a young orc named Thrall would come and free his kind from the internment camps. Zurg's lungs were filled with the air of the forests, and he rejoiced in his recently earned freedom. He would work as the apprentice of an orc blacksmith for two years, until Thrall called for all clans to join him on a journey to a continent on the west called Kalimdor. Zurg reunited the Jawbreaker clan and followed Thrall across the Great Sea.

Zurg then fought in the war against the demonic invaders, meeting, in the middle of the war, a certain orc who was incredibly strong, cutting his enemies in two with his enormous axe. Zurg learned that the orc was a Bone Crusher, and, impressed by his strength, asked to be trained by him. Zurg then received the man's training, and for the following years, helped the Horde settle the wild continent. He would serve in many different battlegrounds, almost always followed by the other members of the Jawbreaker clan, principally his twin brother Durg, and his Bone Crusher master, Gar'tosh. Though his master died in the battle against Illidan in Outland, his legacy would live on Zurg as he crushed his enemies with the same might his master once did.

More recently, following the events of the Shattering, and the return of the Dragonmaw clan to the Horde, the Jawbreaker clan was granted an outpost in the Twilight Highlands, and there he leads them in the battle against the Twilight Hammer.

Skills and Abilities

Bone Crusher: As a Bone Crusher, Zurg is incredibly strong and resistant. While armed with a bludgeoning or cleaving weapon, or even with his fists only, he is a truly devastating force. He charges into battle with the force of a battering ram. However, as a Bone Crusher, he also has a few weaknesses. Being a wall of muscles isn't always good. He has poor maneuverability: when he charges forward, it's hard for him to make a curve. He also can't pass through narrow passages, etc. Also, while he is good fighting with an axe, mace or even bare-handed, he can't use other weapons, such as a one-handed sword, properly. Fencing is a "No" for this guy.

Blacksmithing: Zurg worked as a blacksmith during his youth, and though he has, since then, acquired new occupations, he never fully abandoned the forges. He knows how to craft metal weapons and armour.
