When he is around town, Zilex wears what is comfortable, but when in battle, he wears pate mail for better protection.

Other: When in battle Zilex prefers to use a one-hand weapon and a shield, but will sometimes resort to two handed weapons if he needs to.

Personality

Zilex is a young Paladin who appears to be shy at first, but once you get to know Zilex, he is very outgoing, and fun to be around. He has the mind of a warrior, and is willing to go into battle if necessary. He enjoys playing music, and he can be a bit of a romantic at times. One of his, favorite hobbies, is people watching, he usually does this alone, but always likes to have company. Zilex has sort of a light, calming presence about him, and tries his best not to lose his temper, when someone is being rude or disrespectful to him or his friends. Another one of his's favorite things to do is to travel and explore new places.

History

Zilex was born on the outskirts of Silvermoon City before the third war. He was born to Stella (his mother) and Reed Sunburst (his father). Stella was a very beautiful High Elf Priestess, and Reed was a strong, loyal, and noble Paladin. When he was born both of his parents saw the Light had blessed their child, so Reed personally trained Zilex, teaching the boy protection techniques while Stella taught him how to use his holy powers. He trained vigorously with his parents for years on end. When he was about 100 years of age, his parents gave him a warhorse, which he named Prudence. He continued his training for another 25 years, becoming wiser and stronger. His training made him an ideal candidate for the royal guard, but it was not enough, and he was rejected. Disheartened by his rejection Zilex left home to travel and explore Azeroth.

Over the years Zilex grew stronger, made new friends, and learned a number of different languages. He traveled to many different places, from the plains of The Barrens to the tropical forest of Stranglethorn Vale. He accepted all sorts of odd quests to make money for food and travel expenses. While traveling through Stranglethorn Gibb had received an urgent letter from his parents requesting his return to Silvermoon, because the Scourge were invading the city.

Upon hearing this news, Zilex rushed home a quickly as he could, when he finally arrived Silvermoon was in ruins, his parents, and every one he loved was dead. Zilex buried his parents, and started to set at ease all the restless souls in the ruined city, having heard rumors that a number of High Elves who had fled to the Outlands were returning to Silvermoon, to retake their homeland, Zilex continued his work with the dead and restless souls of Silvermoon.

When the Elves he had heard rumors about, had arrived in Silvermoon he decided to stay a little while longer, postponing his travels, to help these Elves, who called themselves Sin'Dorei or Blood Elves, rebuild their city. Since being cut off from the Sunwell, Zilex began to feel the strain from the Light being absent in his life, he helped a group of Paladins obtain a new source of the Light and joined the group known as the Blood Knights. A few more years had passed, and he left Silvermoon once again to continue his travels. Now making friends with those who aligned themselves with the Horde.
