Generally, Yinafae wears very little in the way of clothing except a leaf-covered robe, boots, and gloves, all seeming to match. As well, she almost always has a Harpoon.

Other: Generally in cat form, which appears mostly like a regular panther, except much larger, and with a slight blue/purple hue to the fur, and longer ears. They eyes have a very faint glow to them if seen at night. Other than these features, someone unfamiliar with night elves and druids in particular might mistake her for a very large panther.

Personality

Yinafae's dedication to nature is her most prominent personality trait. There is nothing to her more important than nature. As well, she considers any who aid and protect nature her allies, whether it forsakes her people's beliefs, and even if they are enemies of the Alliance. She does not see Alliance and Horde, she sees those who aid nature, and those who destroy it.

Yinafae does not trust people in general, though with her rather innocent-seeming nature, her trust is easy to gain unless the person is tainted somehow. Forsaken Undead do not seem to bother her as much, though she still is wary of them. Blood Elves are one race she tends to be wary of due to their fel taint, which she can smell in animal form. As well, and even more so, Death Knights of any race and alignment can cause her great distress. A Death Knight would almost have to sacrifice themselves to save nature to be seen in a good light by her. She tries to stray from Warlocks as well, and is also not fond of their demon minions.

As she doesn't generally like people, seeing the average person of any race to be apathetic to nature, she tends to stay away from them, living alone in the wild since the coming of the Scourge and the second coming of the Burning Legion. This isolation has caused her to become more feral, and as she usually remains in animal form, she has come to take on more attributes of the creatures she turns into, most often being the cat.

For the most part, Yinafae is a pacifist, although she will fight when forced to, though even then she rarely goes for the kill, instead attempting to knock her opponents unconscious. She has a very high regard for life and even if her two most hated enemies were fighting each other she would attempt to stop them. Some exceptions do include Death Knights and any Scourge or Burning Legion, and any who are of like mind to them. She considers these to be the true enemies of nature.

History

Yinafae was born as an only child, and remained that way. She grew up being raised by her mother, her father being a druid and only briefly coming awake from the Emerald Dream to visit. But even in those short instances, Yinafae learned much from her father, and even more from her mother. Both preached that Nature was the only thing truly important in life. She grew as any Night Elf, learning to care for nature, and she was trained as a Night Elf huntress from an early age. As a huntress she learned much about nature and its creatures, and she often enjoyed emulating them. Her favorites were the nightsabers, as she admired their smooth, swift movements, their capacity for stealth, and their strength in a fight.

As she grew into womanhood, she fell in love with a druid, who was soon to hibernate and visit the Emerald Dream. She knew this fate, and accepted it, continuing her lifestyle as a scout and huntress of the Kaldorei.

Nothing truly eventful happened as she grew up, she was a normal girl, as far as most people knew. Her mother told her that when she'd been born she had the slightest hint of amber to her eyes, but that it slowly faded over the next few weeks. Other than this, there were no remarkable portions of her life until the Burning Legion came once again to Azeroth.

Yinafae fought like many others, including her mother, and her father and husband, who had awakened from their slumber to fight the demons.

She managed to survive throughout the fighting, though it pained her to see the destruction wrought by the Burning Legion. Her life was forever changed by the war, for her entire family was killed, her Husband right before her eyes, and her mother right beside her, whom she quickly avenged with a cry of fury and a torrent of attacks against the demons. In a bestial rage, she managed to survive the fighting. She later was informed of her father's death as well. After this point, Yinafae became slightly reclusive. Someone, a comrade whom had witnessed her beast-like behavior on the battlefield suggested a new path of peace for her as a Druid, now that women were being accepted in this time of need. She thought on it for some time before deciding to follow this course. A natural, she learned very quickly from the elder druids, focusing her attention on the bestial forms, and in particular, on the cat form. With her prior knowledge and lessons about flora and fauna, Yinafae was soon an average-learned druid. She had been staying in Starbreeze Village on the new World Tree of Teldrassil when the corrupted furbolgs, whom had been her friends previously, attacked, an attack which she escaped from with her life. Now realizing the fel taint upon the land, Yinafae made a dire decision. She transformed into her cat form and ran away.

She lived among the wilderness in her cat form for several years, making almost no contact except every so often. She mostly stayed within Darkshore and Ashenvale, though she made regular trips up into Moonglade, as she had befriended the suspicious Timbermaw furbolgs enough to give her passage, though the trip through Felwood always disturbed her. She sometimes helped her people as a messenger, swift in her cat form. After all this time in her cat form, she was slowly but surely advancing, losing many of the markings that generally clearly denoted a druid and looking more and more like a normal, although rather large, nightsaber.

Over these next years, she became feral, more cat than Kaldorei, almost. She even began to lose some of her speaking skills. As a cat, she often acted as a warden of the lands she roamed, keeping out those who were not wanted, and sometimes roaming through Felwood, killing demons in vengeance for destroying the land, and for killing her family. All through this, the beliefs hammered into her as a child about nature's importance were only made stronger. She became blinded to the war between the Horde and the Alliance, knowing only Nature and the forces trying to destroy it.
