History

Xlen was born on Argus many many years ago to a magi father named, Delx, and a mother named Haixikia. He grew up on the planet, enjoying the lands and learning of magic through his father, and later being taught by a teacher himself. His family lived in the same encampment for a while before moving around the planet, enjoying their peace at life for the many many years. They once even lived close to Mac'aree, where at the time Xlen was becoming a prominent mage, his father worked as a teacher.

One day, many many years later, Xlen had heard of Velen's warnings, at first he had not believed much in the light, but then he witnessed first-hand of what was happened with Archimonde and Kil'jaeden, he and his family followed Velen onto Oshu'gun where they traversed from world to world. In this time Xlen had begun to understand the light, realizing that it surely saved him from becoming a Man'ari. He decided to repay his own debt to them by following the light as Velen had done, over the next many years of their travel and running from demons he had become a virtuous Anchorite. His father retiring, along with his mother, Xlen met a woman named Jyael after around three thousand years of running. They had fell in love, and within the next hundred years they eventually had a child, named Liyox.

They all had lived together from world to world, watching his son grow, growing old with his wife. Eventually they had found what they believe may be their final residence to live in. Draenor, the draenei race named it. A planet, with verdant grassland, abundance of animals, and even orcs. A peaceful race at first. Eventually now, after twenty-five thousand years of running they had thought they found a good home.

They didn't... Kil'jaeden had tracked them down and swiftly corrupted the orcs, the orcs came in waves, attacking Xlen's village. His mother and father being killed, along with many others, Xlen and his family were able to escape though, hiding with other draenei in Zangarmarsh. Eventually they had to make a choice, and that was to escape in Tempest Keep. Xlen's son stayed behind to fight, and eventually was killed. Xlen and his wife though traveled into the wing of Tempest Keep called The Exodar, Jyael wept for her son as they were instantaneously launched into a planeshift.

During the crash of the Exodar, Jyael had suffered a grave injury and passed on, Xlen however managed to survive and heal his wounds enough to live until he was found, and healed. He mourns his family's passing and prays for them every night, he eventually found his way out into the new world where he figured learning Common would be good, so he did so, he's not very well at it, but can effectively communicate.

He's accepted his life so far and is happy with it, waiting to see what will come in his future.
