Appearance

Xirzza usually wears dark leather armor and a hooded blue cloak, with a mask to cover the bottom half of her face. Recently, she has come to be exposed to finer garments, and seems to have an appreciation for white dresses or robes. She only wears this latter type of clothing around trusted friends, however, or in secluded places.

Other: In addition to her "mysterious attire," Xirzza can be seen wearing two necklaces at all times. One of them is made up of a string of seashells, and is adorned by a large Panther tooth at the very center. The other has a very large Shark tooth. She treasures them both and can frequently be seen examining them or touching them whenever sitting around. Xirzza also carries a variety of daggers on her person, often using them to pick at the bloody gunk under her fingernails.

Personality

Xirzza is secretive, and will just as soon avoid other people, when given the opportunity. She is slow to trust strangers, but fiercely loyal to her friends. In general, she will stand with another troll in a conflict, personal or otherwise.

Xirzza is logical and intelligent, but extremely territorial. She has something of a small comfort zone, and when a person steps beyond it, she can become rather vicious. Despite being a strong tactician, her emotions can get the better of her. In these situations, her reasoning side takes a back-seat to her passion, and she usually ends up saying or doing regrettable things. Unfortunately for her potential victims, Xirzza is also stubborn and loathe to apologize.

History

Xirzza was born and raised on the island of the Darkspears, living with her father, mother, and older sister. Her father, Hajan, was a shaman well-known for his adherence to Trollish customs; in particular, the practices of ritual cannibalism and voodoo. He served as the complete voice of authority for the females in his household, which Xirzza and her mother accepted without complaint. Axjaya, Xirzza's older sister, though anxious to please her father, also desired to be on the same terms as male trolls of similar strength and skill. Hajan thus saw Xirzza in a more positive light, beginning a lifelong sibling rivalry which has yet to see any conclusion.

Hajan taught both of his daughters the dark arts of Trollish mysticism, and encouraged them to learn techniques from other trolls pertaining to killing. Throughout this mixed training, he kept both of his children on a short leash, but tended to discipline Axjaya more severely. Xirzza, on the other hand, was shown praise for her successes and sympathy for her failures. She was the favored child in the family, and thrived in the spotlight her father cast upon her.

By the time she was fifteen, Xirzza had grown to be calm, level-headed, and ruthless. She had experienced young love, and the young hatred and melodramatics that went along with it. Xirzza had taken part in sacrifices and cannibalism, and was to be a great asset to her father. At roughly this time, the murlocs living in the area began to attack the Darkspears, and threatened to destroy their entire way of life.

Hajan did what he could to protect his daughters, going as far as sacrificing his own mate to the Loa in order to save them from the incensed murloc tribes. Xirzza and Axjaya were both present for the ritual, and neither protested. When the Orcs under Thrall arrived and offered a way out, Hajan praised the spirits and celebrated the strength of his dead lover's essence. His daughters were silent on the matter, but prepared the family's belongings for the trip, as was their father's command.

Xirzza did not speak much after her mother's death, but found some solace in the laws enacted by the Orcish Warchief. She was elated to learn of her independence and status as a true person, but was disappointed and confused by the negative response to her family's cannibalistic traditions. Regardless, Hajan was slow to change, and continued his gruesome practices in secret on the Echo Isles. Xirzza and her sister, as always, supported their father in his dark shamanism, and kept his secrets well.

Xirzza found further happiness in the following conflicts against Admiral Proudmoore and Zalazane, finally being allowed to use her skills to hunt the enemies of her people. She greatly enjoyed the application of guerilla tactics, and participated in several battles from the shadows of the jungle. Afterward, she assisted her father in shrinking the heads of certain enemies, and burning the hearts of those who fought better than others. Thanks to Xirzza, some of the fresher corpses from Proudmoore's defeated army may have gone missing, but were not missed.

Over the course of these battles, Axjaya became more and more bloodthirsty. She began to spew hatred toward her younger sister, and threatened to expose their father's practices. She had become a furious warrior in her own regard, but lacked self-control and, apparently, a conscience. Recently, Xirzza had began to fear for her life, and expressed as much to Hajan. He took these events to be a sign from the Loa, and suggested that she travel in order to find further strength and guidance from the goodly spirits of the world.

After a mixed shamanistic ritual and going-away party, Xirzza bid farewell to her father, and set out from Sen'jin Village in search of new experiences and new chances to use her talents. In the back of her mind, Xirzza worried for her father and her wayward sister, but kept her eyes on the road West. The road to self-actualization.
