Personality

Xalas was once an idealistic young man, who used to "put his eggs all in one basket", for lack of a better way to put it. He wouldn't be advert to setting his mind on one goal, and pursuing it to his death... however, this has changed him slightly.

Now, he's sort of bitter about a lot of things in his life. His city has fallen again, and while he'd like to help rebuild, there is a certain tone that everyone has that, well, he just doesn't really care for.

He's the type of man to not trust people right away, as he's had more than one encounter where a person has taken advantage of his youth, and ignorance. However, when he warms up to people, it's usually quite obvious.

While he's externally cold, and somewhat calculating, on the inside he's got the basic needs of any normal person; the want for self preservation, and to a degree, acceptance.

History

Xalas was born into a very simple, slightly wealthy family. His father was a merchant, who ended up dying along with Xalas' mother when Silvermoon fell to the Scourge. This was what made Xalas decide to use his inheritance to become a Bloodknight by any means possible.

It didn't take long for the young man to come into his own with the training. He ended up cleaning stables for years, before he finally asked to be a part of something. However, he soon at his words as he was sent to Arathi to fight against the Horde, and the Alliance under the Bloodelves new faction, "The Sin'Sholai."

While he was out fighting, Rommath had apparently locked everyone in the city... and Xalas out of it. To this day, he only knows what happened through here-say, and gossip. All he knows is that Silvermoon is a wreck again, and he was -not- there to help protect her, on -any- side.

All he knows right now, is that he sees the "Rebels", who now are running the city, persecuting the loyalists in the same way they complained about when they started their rebellion.

Who knows how long Xalas can tolerate that, especially with his new found "Loyalist" friend, Rassia.
