Skills and Abilities

Due to training for thousands of years, she is at the very least trained in most weapons, though much prefers the use of her hammer, which she's had for the last thousand years or so. Despite her use of the Light, she still retains a knowledge of basic first aid. She also is a devout follower of the Light.

Personality

Alignment: Lawful Good

In years long past Vykona was a talkative, friendly individual; The cramped lifestyle aboard the ship led to a rather close companionship with her brother, as the both of them were almost constantly together. However, the horrors that were visited upon her race more recently have led her to become slightly colder, preferring now to speak with her actions rather than her words. She's generally honest to a fault, though she's careful to hold back anything that might be perceived as overly insulting.

The trust that was betrayed by the orcs has led her to be particularly hateful towards their kind, though she has a careful enough grasp of her emotions to show it only in a rare moment of anger. She's generally unpleasant around the members of the Horde, not quite showing them open hostility, though their efforts against the Legion have forced her to give them minor forgiveness.

She much prefers the company of her own kind, or the Kaldorei. The younger races are often far too rash for her liking, though she will still assist them should they be in need: she sees it as her duty to ensure that no others will face the horrors the Legion visited upon the Draenei. She has an undying hatred towards the Legion, believing it to be her main purpose to ensure that the Legion is destroyed.

History

Born aboard the ship as it traveled between the stars, Vykona was the younger of a pair of siblings, born almost a thousand years from her brother. Despite the age gap, they quickly became close, her brother acting as a mentor to her in the ways of the Light; her parents were constantly busy with ensuring the survival of their race, so she received almost all her teachings from her sibling. She was a friendly, talkative youth; Though with the cramped housings, there was often very little else to do than mingle with her few peers. That was a relatively unexciting part of her life; Other than traveling through the stars in hopes of finding a home, there was very little to do other than to train, which she did a great deal.

Other than a few worlds in which she helped explore before they were forced to flee by the encroaching Legion, her life, for the most part, was rather dull. When they arrived at Draenor, she still learned under her brother--though by this time she was a full-fledged Vindicator on her own. She, for the most part, saw little of the orcs, instead remaining with her family for much of the time in the city of Shattrath. When the war broke out amongst her kind and the orcs, she was as shocked as many at the betrayal, though prepared to quickly lay down her life in the defense of her people.

Though she had been in very few actual battles before the onslaught of orcs, she had trained for millenia for the day she would be forced to take up arms for her kin. Despite this, she was horrified by the savagery of the orcs, and of the tortures they inflicted on those of her kind she captured.

She would have laid down her life for the defense of the capital had her brother not insisted that she flee along with the others, stating that the draenei would have every need of warriors in the days to come. Her decision to leave her family behind still haunts her, seeing it as her betrayal to her blood, though she puts forth every effort to ensure their sacrifice was not in vain. She was with the draenei as they hid in the marshes, participated in the recapture of the Exodar, and was present in the crash-landing they were forced into as they fled.

She continued to assist in safeguarding her people as they sought out the others of this new world, now that they no longer had the capability to flee across the stars. As she learned of the Legion's presence on the planet, she would remain with the Exodar to ensure the safety of her kind, staying there for much of the campaigns against the Scourge.

Now, however, it's become evident that her people's refuge is in no immediate danger. She's decided to venture forth, seeing it as her duty to defeat any forces of the Legion that are still left on Azeroth.
