Personality

Alignment: True Neutral

Life is a harsh mistress and Volyena's loving it. She's almost always in a good mood, looking at the bright side of anything and as cheery as she possibly can be. When it comes to other people, though, Volyena tends to be very timid in choosing company, and doesn't trust just anyone. While her usual behavior may suggest a warm, friendly person, Volyena despises most races of the Horde, and is very, -very- careful when making friends that are not Draenei.

While happy, Volyena tends to supress anything that bothers her to the depths of her mind which, more often than you might think, causes her to burst to a fit of depression or rage, depending on the moment. When enraged, Volyena becomes very violent, along with very obnoxious. Anyone that might know her personally will know very well to leave her alone when she's mad.

History

As the Oshu'gun traveled through-out the Nether, a healthy female was born to a mother, but not a father. The mother named her daughter Volyena, after her father's name, Volenor. Volenor, Volyena's father, has fallen victim to the Legion's attacks on an unknown planet the Draenei were on. Volyena grew in many different planets, and the Oshu'gun itself, in fear of the Legion's grasp, though she was too young to realize such a huge threat. As the times passed, Volyena's childhood was filled with lonelyness. Her mother, being an Anchorite, had much to do and much to learn which left her very little time to be with her daughter. In reaction to her mother not having much time to be with her, Volyena befriended another Draenei around her age, a boy that was being taught by his father to become a mage from a young age, continuing a sort of 'tradition' that family had from Argus.

The boy, Agaar, and his father, Teraan, gladly accepted Volyena and even let her learn and train alongside them. Volyena's mother was approving of the 'adoptive' family while she was away, and gladly let Volyena stay with them while she had to do her duties. Teraan trained his son, Agaar, to become a powerful mage, in hopes of memorizing the magical euphoria that was Argus. Volyena, being the 'adopted' child of the two-man family, had joined in on the training and learned how to handle and manipulate Arcane energies. Aside from the training sessions, Agaar and Teraan felt more and more like family to Volyena with each passing day, though as the girl passed her age of adulthood and became a grown woman, she began falling for Agaar, who grew to be an honored and rather famed mage, while on the other hand, Volyena still remained in the basic levels.

Agaar did not hesitate and returned the affection to Volyena, and they became mates. Volyena's mother and Agaar's father were only approving of the bond, and wished the two many years of happiness together, but that was not the case. The years passed and Volyena's love to Agaar only grew more and more, the same could be said for Agaar's love, but the Draenei soon landed on Draenor, and the loving couple, along with their parents, moved to live in the city of Shattrath. While the bond Agaar and Volyena had caused them to become loving mates, their parents were also affected by it, taking eachother as mates aswell. While the joining of the families did cause some confusion in Agaar and Volyena's relationship, it could not possibly break the loving bond they already had. Despite their loving relationship, Volyena's training continued to march forward as she began to thrive towards being a proud mage of her people.

The time the four stayed in Shattrath was nothing short of fantastic, having two loving relationships, but came a certain day and the worse happened. The orcs barged through the city, killing many of the Draenei in their demon blood infused slaughter. The four fled from the city as soon as they could, but the two men decided to stay back and give their people a better chance of escaping if they could. The two women shared a final kiss and a heart-rending goodbye with their mates before running off from Shattrath and to the great marsh to the north. Volyena and her mother stayed with the other Draenei that took refuge in the marsh in great fear, though the two were carrying a hint of hope that their mates will make it back to them safely.

Volyena kept her practicing with her arcane arts, while her mother trained in the ways of the light while in the marsh. A fateful day came, a time to turn the tides, as the Draenei mounted the attack to the Exodar. Volyena and her mother filled their roles as they should have, assisting the battle with whatever they could offer, until the fight was won by the Draenei. The two Draenei women shed a tear as they left Draenor, still hoping deep down inside to find their mates again, and hoping that they are well. Through-out the flight, Volyena was simply not able to make any more friends because of her constant worries for Agaar, which resulted in making her feel even more lonely than she was before.

Explosions, crashes and loud noises were heard as the Exodar came plummeting down through the skies of Azeroth, and crashing into an island with a great impact. Volyena, amazingly, survived the crash while being on the main wing of the Exodar, but the same could not be said for her mother. The worried Draenei woman scavenged and searched everywhere she could, but to find only a shockingly depressing fact, her mother had died in the crash. Volyena could not do much else other than break into tears over the loss, but returned to the Exodar for her grieving, in hope that someone could help her get over her loss. Many supported her, but Volyena never felt more lonely than she was ever before, until she finally got a hold of herself.

Volyena tried to smile, and managed, but it could only mask the horrible pain for so long. She helped her people with whatever she could in the Exodar, then set out to travel around Azeroth with no real purpose other than finding something to distract her. Nobody she asked knew of what happened to Agaar and Teraan, but she kept her hope and tried to mask her pain as much as she could. The woman took basic travelling gear, money, a map and set off to explore the lands of Azeroth after saying her goodbye's to whoever cared.

Currently, Volyena explores the Eastern Kingdoms by herself, taking shelter in whatever place she can find or afford with the money she has.
