History

Verdandi was born one of three sisters in the peasant like caste, serving the Barov family, in the nearby reaches of Caer Darrow. Like most citizens, she enjoyed the fruits and wealth from their prosperous foothold within Lordaeron. As a child she shared an experience with her sisters, they often had nightmares that were actually dreams foretelling events and people in near and far off places. As she, Urd, and Skuld grew older, they foretold of the grim future that awaited them all. At the time of their sixteenth birthday the triplets were slowly being recognized for their gifts. It was during that time that the House of Barov soon aligned themselves with The Cult of the Damned in secret. Soon many "special gifted children and individuals were rounded up and taken within the newly erected school led by the rogue wizard Kel'Thuzad. In the short lived years to follow, these special individuals were subjected to the Lich King's agents' experiments and the prelude of his domination in the area.

When the plague began to spread across all of Lordaeron the last remaining settlement of Caer Darrow soon fell to the Scourge invasion after it's impeccable wrath befell upon Andorhal as well. Verdandi along with her sisters were sacrificed physically within the depths of Caer Darrow. Upon her renewed awakening she served for five years as a scourgling under the reign of Kel'Thuzad and then later Araj the Summoner as the regent lord to the now Western Plaguelands.

After the falling of the first attack upon Naxxramas, and the dismay of the freeing of Scourge minds, Verdandi found herself clawing her way out of the murky waters along Darrowmere Lake. Avoiding the Crusade patrols and her once Scourgeling brethren she made her way along the dirt beaten path and collapsed near the Bulwark. Alexi Barov, having recognized Verdandi from her more youthful and vibrant days brought her into the camp. After a number of days and the passing of a lunar moon, she began to exhibit a stark but controllable madness. The Barov recanted to Verdandi the events that took place during her undying servitude. When she spoke back to him her words took the form of rhythmical speech.

"Scourge born, and of a deathly chill, free are we now of the master's will?" Perplexed Alexi Barov nodded, Verdandi gathered herself, arose and looked to the west. Her steps slowly followed the last one taken, as her eyes scanned about as if to search for her siblings.

To the road I must go, in search I be. If not in search of one, nor two, but that of three.

Clearly not of Scourge mind, she was soon led by her curiosity slowly making her way along the cobblestone road passing the once proud 'Capital City'. Before her now at the setting of the sun was the crumbling of mortar and stone. "Capital city, no longer of kingsmen banner of such delight. Now desolate graveyards paint this horrid sight." She looked upon the unmarked graves along the courtyard, then soon she crossed the drawn wooden rickety bridge. The smell of death and decay waft through the air, yet no stench was found by her senses. A brutish man clad in darkened armor stopped her, almost in an instant his obvious sneer retracted as her harsh rhythmical words boomed in reprisal at him. "Do not cross me Orc, who's seemingly unsound, driven from death and returned to this hallowed ground."

The Orc was bewildered by her words, "Just what are you Forsaken?" his words carried a commanding and taunting tone. Verdandi rasied her eyes upon him with curious intent. "See you stand, see us fall, all in darkness we heed the call." "The call...Yes indeed." the Orc responded, still quiet suspicious of what seemed like a freshly awakened Forsaken. "Never have I encountered one so fresh, and far from the grave. The Orc then continued to introduce himself as Lok'magrosh Bloodroar. Verdandi was difficult to understand the Orc felt, but in the end he knew enough to ask her to join in the The Lifeblood Ascendants' plight. And in return he would grant her the ability to seek out her waning abilities as well as the fate of her siblings.
