History

Velina Ra'neh was born in a time of peace and prosperity for her people, Her parents were simple farmers, she never had experienced what some might call "The life of luxury" She instead knew the fundements of hard labour. She didn't ever have cause to complain, her family loved her, she always strived to help them out in every way she could. Her work gave her good morales. Her long life dream was to serve her people, help the citizens of Silvermoon, but she didn't want to take up the guard, for she knew she would simply put on a post and never see action, nor sate her need to protect. Then the scourge invaded, due to a fluke, she managed to survive.

A call to arms was raised, confused, Velina's father went to go check with the local guards. When he returned, he informed his family that the Scourge has breached the first gate, and that they need able fighters to join the cause, and he was going to help defend his people. Velina was to stay at home and guard her mother, though she knew that she was given this task to not worry so much about her father, to distract her. Days had passed without knowledge of what has happened, then she saw a passing guard, and inquired, he informed her that the Scourge had won out, that many were slaughtered, and that everyone that is able is required to go help rebuild the city. Velina then, chose to go to Silvermoon to help rebuild, she saw the slaughter first hand, how many lives were claimed in the attack. She grew worried about the condition of her father, so she went to the Magister's terrace, she only encountered the head of the guards at the ruins, so she decided that seeming he was the head, she could inquire to her father's where abouts. She later learned that he was injured in the defense of the city, and was with the priests, so she went and saw him. His condition was bad, it didn't seem that he would be guarding the city anymore, and that he would be needing a extra hand around the farm. Velina's life became busy over the next few months, helping her father around the house, and helping the people rebuild their city. She nearly broke down several times in the first while, seeing how many Sin'Dorei people were claimed. She talked to her dad, who had trained to be A Blood knight, when his wounds had healed up and allowed him to become more physically active, but he never made it past the Third Trial. He passed on the knowledge he knew onto Velina, who in turn memorized these teachings, so that she may pursue her dream when she came of age, She would help avenge and protect her people.

Finally, the day came for Velina to move out of the farm life, and into her days as a Adept of the Blood Knights. She trained long and hard, her teachings from her father helped her immensly. A few months would pass when the local trainer told her that Knight-Lord Bloodvalor had heard wind of her successses in training, and wished a audience with her. Velina had been waiting for this moment since she joined with the Blood knights, she knew she was to be given her First Trial.

When she arrived, she found herself to be correct. Bloodvalor had tasked her with going down into the Ghostlands, and lighting the cauldron in the hollowed tree. When she arrived to light it, she was accausted by a fellow Blood Knight. Confused and enraged at the thought of a traitor, she marched back up to Silvermoon, and questioned Bloodvalor. Amused, he told her that this was apart of the First task, and that she was to drain magic from the Magisters, and harness the magic to revive the man she had just slain. Her anger subsiding, she performed the task, and returned once more to Bloodvalor. He smiled upon her and announced that she had passed the First trial, and named Adept.
