Once long ago a devout follower of the Light, Vargomoth has since given up the ways of piety and peace. He now prefers to use any means necessary to get what he wants, and if that involves murder, torture, kidnapping, and other cruel acts, he has no inhibitions. He holds no hatred for any race. Those who follow the Light he will go out of his way to be mean to. He will not help the weak, and if he were to come across a dying person on a road he would either ignore the person, or if it were an enemy, watch them die and laugh at them as they do. He's also a little insane, and by insane I mean that sometimes he talks to his dead wife. As in has full conversations with her. As in he hallucinates her.

History

Born before the draenei fled from Argus, Vargomoth was a mage like many eredar. He found a major interest in shadow magic, and spent much time learning how to wield it. When he was close to adulthood, he met his love, Ashrarie, a mage, and they became life mates.

When the Demon Lord Sargeras came to Argus, he was suspicious, believing that such an offer seemed to good to be true. When Velen was contacted by the Naaru, Vargomoth forsook magic and became a follower of the Light, although Ashrarie still practiced magic. They both fled Argus with Velen, joining the draenei and becoming exiles from their home-world.

Thousand of years past. During those years, Ashrarie really wanted to have a child but she failed to conceive, and she grew into a depression. Sometimes she said she missed Argus and wished they had never left. One day, while praying at a shrine to the Naaru, Vargomoth was approached by three draenei guards. They took him aside, and told him sour news. "Your wife is dead.".

"Why? What happened?" Vargomoth asked.

They explained that she had been sent to investigate reports of a Burning Legion presence, and that she was ambushed and killed by demons. Vargomoth was devastated.

After this, he shut himself off from most Draenei and began to spend most of his time praying. When the draenei arrived on Draenor, he moved into the Auchindoun, their "city of the dead", in order to be closer to his wife. One day, agents of the shadow council sneaked into it and summoned an elemental. He was there, and the blast that occured ravaged Terrokar Forest but more importantly, broke Vargomoth's mind.

As soon as he came to, his wife was there, next to him. He was so happy to see her, but she vanished before his eyes. He flew into a rage, and did something he hadn't done since his conversion to the Light: began to use shadow magic. He cursed at other draenei who tried to stop him, telling them that they did not know what it was like to lose his Ashrarie twice, that the Naaru were only false saviors who had tricked them into leaving Argus behind. He quickly fled from his fellow draenei, and became a hermit. He spent much of his time locked away from the world, practicing shadow magic and falling deeper into anger.

Anger at the Naaru for taking the draenei away from Argus. Anger at the draenei for being so blind and devoted to the Light when the world is so cruel. And anger at the world for taking his wife away. But sometimes, his wife would appear to him, and he would talk to her. Those were the good days, but as soon as she vanished he would quickly fall back into anger.

Now on his own, he went deep the Blade's Edge Mountains, and found himself a cave to dwell in. Vargomoth would hunt any animal he could, using the hunting the practice his shadow magic. As time went on and he got better, he began to venture farther from his cave. If he ever came across an orc or another draenei, he would use his dark powers to control their minds to get them to leave him be, and if they saw him, forget that they did.

One day, on one of the days where he was closer to Nagrand, he came across a creature he had never seen before: A human. The human was also traveling with a draenei. It was then that he learned about the world of Azeroth, and the many events that had occurred since he had exiled himself from the draenei. He decided to travel to this new world, as he had already seen all that Draenor, now Outland, had to offer.
