She is a woman who enjoys good food, and enjoys it frequently. She bears a deep scar on her left thigh, due to the Exodar crashing. Although she has regained movement in said limb, her attempts to completely heal the wound have failed. She is well spoken, in Orcish and Draenei, but has difficulty with Common both in its understanding and its pronunciation.

Alignment: Lawful Good

Appearance

Varfolomei does not wear armor. She views it as an invitation for battle, which she opposes. She does not really sport 'usual' garments either. What she wears depends on a number of things: The Day; The Time; The Weather; The Occasion; and the Company. However, for the most part robes are a norm.

Personality

Varfolomei is a very quick thinker. She is witty at times, and very well communicated. "If one could behead an enemy with conversation, [She] would be one of the deadliest women alive." She enjoys the company of almost anyone. She is not racists, but does carry some cautions towards specific groups on Azeroth. For one, she distrusts Orcs and the Sin'dorei. Gnomes to her are too small and meddlesome. Humans are ideally superior to most races, but do have major flaws which cannot be ignored. She is not full of spite for, nor is she seeking revenge against the Orcs and Sin'dorei; she is simply cautious and will likely not approach them. Her two closest friends and allies are her brother, and their mission's cook. She spends a great deal of time with both of them, and thinks very highly of them. When it comes to others, Varfolomei relates very easily to many people. Though, due to the language barrier she has a harder time relating to those not of her race. She is maternal, and loving when she deals with young people, especially children. She is also very passive and non-violent. It would be very, very rare to see Varfolomei personally inflict pain or death upon someone but it has happened before. This does not mean she does is against the use of force. Varfolomei would strongly prefer diplomacy as a means to consoling a dispute, but should it fail she will support her allies. Rarely though does her diplomatic means fail when used upon those who are rational. Varfolomei follows the Light at all times. She possesses a very powerful faith which will not be weakened easily.

History

Varfolomei was born the second child to her family upon the planet Argus. There she resided for some and two millennia before she became a follower of Velen and escaped. The many years she spent upon Oshu'gun with the Naaru were most likely the most influential years of her life. Fleeing from the Legion, Varfolomei fully accepted the teachings of her Naaru companions. She had many years to practice the powers of her faith and to refine them. Both herself and her brother became very devout members and worshippers of the light.

Upon Draenor, Varfolomei became an ambassador for the Draeneic people. She learned Orcish quite easily, due to its coarseness and its straightforwardness. She spent many years helping her people trade with the Orcs, and for awhile she had begun to respect their primal culture. However, once the corrupted Orcs began their assault, her opinion changed greatly. During these years her brother evolved from a Priest to a Paladin in skill, and began to focus moreso on his skill with the blade rather than his faith. Varfolomei did exactly the opposite. This event served only to strengthen the bond between Varfolomei's brother and herself. They spent a great deal of time together and grew very close. During the years they spent hidden in Zangamarsh, Arthelian and Varfolomei developed an overwhelming hatred for fel magics, which even to this day they have no tolerance for.

The time Varfolomei spent on the Exodar was spent in quiet contemplation of what had occured on Draenor. She thought about the Orcs and their society... what it was comprised of and what it was lacking. She came to the conclusion that they had succumbed to such devious magics because of their lack of faith. She also grew to believe that their barbarianism and their feral dispositions had grown them prone to battle. These thoughts are responsible for Varfolomei's passiveness on the battlefield and why she chooses to support her allies, rather than have them support her (I.E She does not fight herself, but will remain on the rear lines of her allies, healing their wounded).

When the Exodar crashed, Varfolomei put her skills as a healer to use. She restored many injured Draenei to health, and saved many lives. One is particular became a very dear friend of hers. Kry, as he prefers to be called, was saved by Varfolomei's efforts. The two bonded very quickly, and his keenness to explore his faith further served only to provide them with a closer connection. Upon meeting the Alliance races, Varfolomei was shocked to discover the lack of unified faith amongst them. She vowed not the allow her new allies to become similar to the Orcs upon Draenor. So, Arthelian, Kry and herself set out on a mission. Their goal was to spread the word the Naaru had once voiced to themselves.

And so her story begins.
