Appearance

Jason is an average sized human, pretty muscular but still quite slim. He has long brown hair and a small patch of hair on his chin. His low weight means he's pretty agile, at least to fisherman standards.

Apparel

Usually wears simple clothing, nothing special, but wears chain in combat accompanied by his sturdy sword and shield.

Personality

Jason is a usually friendly person who's more or less renown for his childish sense of humor. He has a knack for getting himself into trouble, mostly because his humor has offended someone, (Jason likes to annoy people, especially bully-type persons). It's only natural these skills have earned him some experience in brawling, although he would rather avoid actual confrontation.

Jason would rather avoid trouble than face it, don't be fooled though, he will put up a fight if he's cornered. Jason shows quite some skill with a blade, and he might become a fine soldier someday. Although he should get more discipline first, Jason mostly skipped his Militia training to hang out with friends. He's also an accomplished sailor and fisherman, it's in his blood after all.

After recent events, Jason has changed considerable, now he tries to face his fears and conquer them, it seemhe's slowly turning into a real warrior. He wouldn't always run away from problems, but neither would he always face them.

History

Jason was born in Southshore as part of a family of sailors and fisherman. And Jason would become a fisherman too, so he often took part in fishing when he was young. He would often be gone for the day to work on his father's fishing boat. When he was in town he'd usually hang out with friends, which he had quite a lot, or do chores for his mother.

The fisherman's work earned him quite some muscles. This caught the attention of not only the females but also Southshore's Field Marshal. As such Jason was drafted into the military, however Jason never paid attention to his trainings because he loathed them. It earned him punishment and hard labor. It was however clear that Jason had more potential than the average recruit, even though he missed a lot of training Jason would still beat most Militants in a spar. The Field Marshall wasn't impressed, Jay's lack of discipline would surely rule out a life as a soldier for him. Besides, Jason was quite cocky abut his prowess.

Change came shortly. Thrall and his horde sought to leave the eastern Kingdoms, and sail for Kalimdor. Sadly Southshore was the closest harbor. The attack came unexpected, as far as the people knew, every Orc was incarcerated in interment camps. The Militia posed little and most of the Sailors of the Alliance fleet spent their time being drunk. Jason himself, wasn't drunk, something that was quite exceptional those days. He killed two Orcs that day before he got knocked out by a large Orc with a huge club. Luckily the Orcs had little time to check the village was survivors as they left as quickly as they came, taking the Alliance fleet with them. Jason lost a big part of his family that day, most of them worked as sailors on one of the Alliance ships. Some of them were lucky enough to get thrown overboard but most of them were killed.

Since that day, Jason began to take his training seriously, against all expectations, he even joined the military and headed up north to fight the scourge. He even survived the third war, it seemed Jason had a skill to stir up trouble and come out unharmed. Lordearon fell nonetheless and Jason returned to his home to fight a series of skirmishes against the Forsaken.

Now Hillsbrad knows an uncanny peace and Jason Vandermar travels the world to help other people in need, when he arrived in Stormwind he heard about the situation in Duskwood, he decided and traveled there. When he arrived he learned about the Lion's League, which he joined a day later.
