Personality

Valerie can be defined as shy, timid and shy. She, however, is an odd kind of shy. Valerie is a kind and humble person. She tries to help wherever possible and does so with respect for others. Yet she seems embarrassed by her actions or even her own voice. This is most visible by her occasionally flushed face and the reoccurring stutter in her speech. Seeing as Valerie's never been out of the city for an extended period of time she's quite used to violence as she lived most of her life in the Older part of Stormwind.

History

Valerie was born into a large family. In total she has four brothers and seven sisters, of which one was her twin sister. There was a reason as to why they were and could only be the youngest in their family. It was a complication that had occurred just after labour that ceased her mother's life. Her father split as soon as he realized he had to raise the children all by himself. Sure, a few of the kids were capable of handling themselves as they had grown into maturity already but their father still couldn't gather up what was needed for him to stay with them.

A couple of the younger siblings were raised by their older sibling but seeing as they didn't have a great steady income, their mother's siblings came to their aid and took most of the younger sibling under their wing. Their family spread wide over Human lands and they all adopted their mother's surname, seeing as their father had split on them.

Valerie as her twin sister were taken care of by their aunt. Her husband had passed away a few years prior and she did seem in need for company. She worked as a librarian in the Stormwind Keep.

Valerie and her sister had a relative normal childhood from that point on. They met with their siblings on multiple occasions whom they held in high regard. Valerie's childhood wasn't totally void of abnormalities, seeing as these occurred daily in the neighborhood for she lived close to the Old Town. Valerie and her sister were also mostly urged to stay inside which they mostly managed. Valerie, however, managed to stay inside more than her sister. She fled to the realm of the written world and set her mind on creating a story of her own.

Apart from the constant reading Valerie committed herself to she also found consolence in another hobby. It started out quite peculiar seeing as Valerie was trying to create paper. Sadly, she didn't fully know the materials nor the instruments that were needed to create paper. So, it ended up with it just being carving wood. Curiously she found a peace and tranquility as she used a knife to shape the wood to her liking. It soon grew out to be a hobby, crafting wooden sculptures and staves alike.

The years passed, Valerie read more books and practiced her woodcrafting and there was a lot of other uneventful stuff that doesn't even warrant mentioning it. The third war feinted into history as if it was a slight rumbling in the north. Sure, she had got into a fight just after the third war. Sure, she wasn't on the winning end but that happened to almost everyone in the City. It left a scar. The scar that indicates the only sound in a time of silence.
