History

Valashare was born to a middle class family with one brother, Theon Deimos. He and his brother took their separate ways when they were young, Valashare training to be a paladin and learning of the light, while Theon decided to become a ranger and live off of the abundant woods. Theon despised Valashare for always being the eldest and therefore the favorite of his parents. Many times they met and collided in their separate paths of life, until the final time he saw Theon. (Right before he entered Outland)

The last time Valashare saw Theon, they fought a great battle, and almost killed each other in the process. Theon firing arrow after arrow, Valashare casting spells to heal himself and trying to swing his massive longsword at Theon. Finally, Theon was notching another arrow when Valashare hit him upside the head with the hilt of his sword, scrambling Theon's memories. Valashare ran into the woods, and continued his research without any remorse for his brother.

Valashare was a young man when Quel'Thalas went up in flames. He was a few miles off at the time, studying a strange disease that popped up among the local wildlife. Even a good ten miles off from the city, he could still see the flames and hear the anguished cries of his brethren. He desperately wanted to help, though he knew that there was nothing he could do. After all, he was just one person, and was only lightly equipped with some chain mail and a short sword at the time.

Knowing that he had two options, a: Watch Quel'Thalas burn and listen to the battle; or b: try to escape in hopes the assailants would not go after him; To him his choice was clear: Try and escape to look for other survivors, not in the great city at the time. So he set out on the road in search of other Elves that might have survived, unsure if he was the only one left. But each day he searched, there was this hunger that kept growing in him- A hunger for magic.

Finally, after three months of relentlessly searching, he found a group of traveling elves calling themselves the Blood Elves. They would later become the Blood Knights. He knew that these were his kin and asked them if they would take him in. At first they were hesitant, but then he explained his hunger for magical energies to them, and he was accepted. As it turned out, they were hungering for Fel Energies too!

After joining the Blood Knights, Valashare finally had a home, and a new family too. He travelled with them all over Azeroth, and finally, they were taken to Outland. The gate they took set them in Hellfire Peninsula, in Outland. There, he and his group were stationed and remained there, feeding off of the Fel Energies emitted from the corrupted orcs and the other Daemons.

But after a couple years with his Battalion of Brothers, he began to feel that this addiction to magical energy was consuming his being. He knew that if he told the others how he felt about what they were doing, he would not be accepted with them. So one night, he set out towards the gate that took him to Outland in the first place.

After a week of running and battling away from his old friends and the Daemons that surrounded him, he finally came across a group of his kin. They were all Huntresses, and they called themselves The Wild Hunt. They were a group of female hunters that travelled around Outland purging the Daemons that ran rampant there. He identified the leader of the group to be a warrior maiden named Alanara. Alanara was a Blood Elf as well, and as he did, thought the fel energies were a disgusting excuse to satisfy their craving for magic.

The Woman named Alanara was very kind to him even though males were not welcomed in her group. She fought side by side with him for months, and he began to respect her as his true master to some degree. But he knew that this fighting group could not last, so he told her of his quest to escape Outland and start a new life healing those in need. She smiled at him and said warmly, "Then the time has come. Follow me young wolf." She called the huntresses together and announced a battle plan to get him to the gate that would return him to Azeroth.

Finally the day had come to prepare for battle and return him to his home in Azeroth... but he had loved the time he spent with The Wild Hunt. So he said his goodbyes to the girls, and they seemed relieved to have him leave, with the exception of Alanara of course. So they donned their armor and set out to battle. They fought valiantly, cutting down each Daemon they encountered, but it soon became clear that they were hopelessly out-numbered. So what Alanara did, was she gave Valashare a hug goodbye and caused a distraction yelling and battling the Daemons to distract them. He soon saw a clear path to the gate, but he had to wonder and feel guilty, "Why, I only met this woman a few months ago and she is already prepared to give her's, and her followers lives to get me out of here," he thought, as he charged through the opening in the enemies' lines. With one last glance, long enough to see Alanara and her fighters being overwhelmed, she blew him a kiss and was immediately struck down by the Daemons. A tear touched his ear as he was sucked into the portal and fell back into Azeroth. He was home.

After landing on the other side, he ran south, in search of some form of town. So he set out to a local bar, for he needed a place to stay. There he bought a room and found a job as a free lance. He figured that fighting was what he knew how to do best, so why not fight for a living? Valashare is now in the Salty Sailor Tavern in Booty Bay. He has a room there, a job, but only one contact. An old friend named Tiandorin. Now he only needs to solve the problem of the guilt he felt inside himself.
