Appearance

Vaela casually wears shirts and long skirts, dresses, or robes. In combat she wears the armor of her organization (The Sentinels) or a suit of mail or light plate that is light enough to allow for a lot of movement.

Personality

Vaela is a strong-willed woman, willing to give her last breath for the Kal'dorei and her goddess Elune. She isn't daunted by much, given her long years of service, and takes great pride in attempting any challenge she's put up against.

Many years of service have also burned a hatred of Fel and the Arcane into her mind. She's seen firsthand the destruction wrought by demons and the High Elves, and will never forgive her outcast cousins for what they did. The Horde is a symbol of her hatred, and something she tries to fight hard against, even if she holds some favor towards the Tauren for their Druidic aid to the Elves.

History

Beginning long ago, Vaela's life has been a prosperous one. She was born to a family of little import, her father a man who had no Druidic potential, a man considered useless to all but his mate. She was a Sentinel, and the one who introduced Vaela to the Sisterhood.

From a young age, Vaela was immersed in the rites and traditions of her mother's office. As a child of a Sentinel she knew the path she was destined to take, and worked with longing towards entering the Sisterhood. With each passing year of training her mother groomed her for a lifetime of service to her goddess and passed on to her skills of survival and warfare in the deep forest. As Vaela grew into a woman, her mother grew distant. The Sisterhood provided what she needed from then on; the companionship of her Sisters over a host of millennia shaped her into an excellent fighter, and a mistress of the forest's secret places. When skirmishes came, they were few and easily quelled. It was a time of great happiness for Vaela.

The Third War came like a sharp blow to the head. Vaela was caught up in a whirlwind over what was once just a few scattered attacks by Satyr, and then led to the Naga, and then the Orcs. Vaela was stationed at Hyjal when Archimonde fell, and watched her immortality burn for the sake of the world. She grew more and more driven to destroy the corruption that lingered in her homelands, even more so because of the loss of her immortality. The years pressed on her with even more weight, but she knew she wouldn't waste them.

Only a few years have passed, but that's meant many things for Vaela. She's traveled a long way across the farthest reaches of Kalimdor, carrying out the will of the Goddess through her superiors in the Sentinels. She has many Elven contacts around the continent, and a few even that are Tauren. In recent years, Vaela has been tracking demons across Felwood and Ashenvale in the hopes of somehow putting a stop to their corruption.
