Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: As Tikar pushes himself deeper into conflict, he decided to take up Corchel's offer of better protecting gear. The Druid's armor is thick, protective and tightly binds against his body to showcase his muscle structure. On his right forearm is a bracer of woven sinew and leather, adorned with an engraving of a bear's paw. His leather helmet doesn't hide his blue bushy chin-beard or long hair. He usually keeps a tabard as well. He now carries a piked cudgel made of ancient ironwood.

Other: Tikar's build is muscular, preferring to keep in shape in devotion to Ursoc. His shoulders aren't as wide as the character model. Being as tall as he is and all-around thin like his brother, Tikar looks like a plank.

Personality

Tikar has his quirks. He is seen devoutly loyal to his family and friends and even lawful to his druid training. Also at the same time carefree and lazy. He does what he believes is best and that's good enough for him.

Tikar clings to his family. He was never really close to his mother Sadil Nightseer, but still tried to do his best to make her proud. Tikar owes most of his temperament and combat skills to his Sentinel mother. His father Hercynian was nearly absent in his childhood. Lacking their love and affection, Tikar turned to his other relatives for the love he needed. When he was younger, he viewed Ursoc and Ursol as his divine reflection, hoping someday to be that close to someone. At times his devotion can be seen as obsessive to others, especially when considering his physical appearance. Tikar even went as far as to try and push that image on his immature younger sibling, Kantado. While they argue and dispute at times, they are very close.

The Druid used to spend much time in quiet contemplation without any real focus in life. Now that he's been spending some time with his mate, Corchel, his outlook on life is a bit brighter. Tikar desires to defend the land alongside his mate and secure whatever peace is possible. He tries to accomplish this without needlessly endangering himself. He cares deeply for his mate and doesn't wish for them to part for many years. Tikar is suspicious and wary of the other races outside of his family and Night Elven culture. Even so, his younger brother is helping him with that.

History

Tikar was born to Sadil and Hercynian long before the Third War. He spent just a few years with his mother before being left to the community to be raised. As a typical male, Tikar was fed Druidism at every opportunity. Despite this he was a rowdy kid getting into all sorts of trouble. Least to say things were quieter when Tikar entered the Emerald Dream. Tikar met his father for the first time there, and was trained under him. He favored the teachings and examples of Ursoc and Ursol.

When news of a younger brother reached him, Tikar was ecstatic! To him, his devotion to Ursoc and Ursol had granted him the greatest gift he could imagine. He gladly offered to raise the child, as Sadil was always consumed with Sentinel duties. Tikar saw a lot of himself in the young Kantado, and usually found his antics hilarious. To their parents' dismay, Kantado was raised without a lick of discipline. Tikar saw his slacker brother as his opposite, comparable to Ursol.

As the Third War began, Tikar agreed that his younger brother should stay in the dream for his own protection. Tikar fought alongside his father against the Burning Legion. It was inspirational for Tikar as he thought perhaps this is what mother saw in Hercynian. But that would probably be pushing it. Tikar was outraged when the world tree was destroyed. He thought the worst for his brother and traveled home. Kantado was found in Moonglade, safe. With his family taken care of Tikar was poised to take a much needed rest. Tikar thought it was ironic; He was slouching and his brother was training.

An exciting tale of a crash and aliens on Azeroth sparked Tikar's interest. He went with his brother to greet the Draenei and developed a sympathetic ear to their world's plight. As the brothers returned to Moonglade, Tikar desired to learn more. Hitting the books, scout logs and a supplies requests, Tikar stumbled upon something called the Cenarion Expedition. It was a perfect fit for Tikar. With the bulk of the activity in Northrend, Tikar took to Outland. He spent the next few years in peaceful seclusion with the Expedition and mastered his drudic abilities.

Corchel Duskthorn

With the Northrend war over and his wanderlust sated, Tikar has returned to his roots. After catching up with his family, Tikar has decided to stay in the Nightsong Woods for a while. He met up with a stalwart Kaldorei Druidess named Corchel Duskthorn. They struck up a friendship over a couple weeks and began to go on the occasional walk together. It wasn't long before they were forced to defend themselves against the spreading corruption.

In a particular event in which a traveling Tikar saw Corchel and another kaldorei woman, Franziska, attacked by a group of Orcs. The Druid went to their defense, but was easily overpowered by the group of thugs. Wounded and lost, Tikar went to get help. After finding an able friend in Alanar, a Kaldorei Rogue, they set after the Orcish Thugs. The daring rescue almost backfired, and it was Corchel who ended up carrying Tikar out of the crude jail. She insisted he was the hero despite his own doubts. Corchel marveled at Tikar's courage, and decided he would be her mate. It didn't take Tikar long to decide that is the reason he went after her in the first place, and agreed. The awkward pair continue to work out their new relationship while defending their homeland.

Recently the Emerald Nightmare has been creeping into Azeroth. Tikar went with an group investigation and found a rather large Distortion. There were many combat Druids, so Tikar focused on a support role. Lillisea had mastered the Treant Form, so she handled the healing. Tikar decided to focus on figuring out how to mend the distortions. The Druid managed to shut one down with natural energy which resulted in an epiphany. Tikar trusted the other melee Druids to distract the corrupted plants so he could focus on mending the distortions. At the end of night, Tikar sat and wrote a short letter to the Emerald Sanctuary. He is fairly proud of this accomplishment.

Currently he supports a group called the Ash Wardens alongside Corchel and his friends. He aims to help by using his Druidic contacts in the Cenarion Circle to gather like-minded individuals and investigate leads of corruption.

Skills and Abilities

Tikar is a capable Druid of the Wild. While he favors the Dire Bear form, lately he has began to rely on it less. He understands the importance of balance, and is capable of adjusting his tactics to include those around him.

The Druid even trains and grooms himself to mirror his devotion to Ursoc. He keeps his hair grown, fingernails longer and physically trains in hand-to-hand combat. He's also been training his other combat abilities and has requested Corchel's aid for melee training.
