Personality

Dazehl speaks clearly for a troll but still has an accent. She is quite bold and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Dazehl has a deep love for the Orcs, Tauren and Trolls who have turned to the new way of Shamanism. She is wary of the Blood Elves as a whole, but has a couple elven friends. She sees primitive Trolls, Warlock Orcs and other affronts to the natural way of life with great disappointment. Even with her hatred of these and Forsaken, she maintains a neutral viewpoint solely on her reverence to the earth spirits. The mountain spirit has taught her to only take action on what affects her directly and ignore the rest.

She has taken on many of the earth spirit's attributes including becoming stoic and distant in nature. She is always barefoot in reverence to her new connection to the earth spirits. She rubs her body down with dust before battle and bathes in natural murky ponds.

History

She was seventeen when Sen'jin was sacrificed to the Sea Witch. Before that she lived a typical troll's life just trying to survive. Her father died defending the tribe from the invading murlocs. The mother and child were among the lowest in the tribe, they had no owner. When Thrall and the orcish horde agreed to have save their tribe, Dazehl was motivated to spring into action, and earn her and her mother's respect among the tribe. Yet her mother restrained her from rushing off into battle saying "It's not your time little one. Have patience with the spirits, our place is not among the warriors"

She was "of age" when the new Horde and the Darkspear Tribe sailed for Kalimdor's Echo Islands. Thrall's call for sexual equality answered Dazehl's desire to prove herself. It didn't seem long to Dazehl before the Kul Tiras navy began their attack on the Darkspears. She was eager to give up the lectures of Shamanism and go fight the humans. She was old enough to hold her own when the Horde battled alongside her tribe for their freedom.

With victory in-tow Dazehl joined the few trolls that went with the new Horde in search of allies. The orcs and trolls found much in common with the Tauren; a love of battle, honor and a shamanistic world view. Alongside the Orcs, Tauren, and Trolls Dazehl began to realize her gifts in battle and finally achieved in her own eyes, equality.

Inspired by the great Tauren Shaman, Dazehl completed her basic Shaman training. After bidding farewell to her mother in Sen'jin village, Dazehl set off into the world to continue to prove herself.

A few months later Dazehl encountered a pair of Forsaken on her travels through the Ghostlands. Between their unstable hatred for the living and her disgust of the unnatural undead a battle took place. Dazehl easily dispatched the first forsaken with a small call to the earth spirit. His ankle rolled under from under him and sent him rolling down a small yet steep cliff. He was unable to return to the battle quickly. However Dazehl didn't see the other Forsaken casting a shadowy bolt her way. It pelted her in the side and weakened her. She was unable to defend herself as the Forsaken sank his dagger into her side. She fell to the ground lifeless. The Forsaken left her body to rot on the road as he went to find his companion.

Not much later a Blood Elf Paladin saw the body of Dazehl and rushed to her side. She recognized this troll from Booty Bay and took her on her mount to Silvermoon. There, with the help of an elven priest resuscitated Dazehl. She opened her eyes to see a familiar face, but vastly foreign atmosphere. She stayed in Silvermoon for a week recuperating from the ordeal. She found that her face was older, her body going from in-prime to middle age within days. As Dazehl spent time in the Blood Elf capital she noticed the Arcane Golems and various mundane things enchanted with arcane and mystical energies. Dazehl thanked her rescuer and friend but insisted she must be off.

She returned to Thunder Bluff and sought her teachers and mentors. They concluded that she had lost her connection to the spirits between her death and time with the elves. Dazelh set off to restore her connection with the spirits, starting first with earth spirits.

Dazehl has been a recluse for over a year now. The earth and mountain spirits have taught her to be at peace with the past, all she has is the present. Every event is like erosion on the mountain, carefully and methodically forming the mountain. Dazehl has taken this peace she now has as a gift from the earth spirits; and in return pledged her life to them.
