Personality

Tyra is an odd one. Mostly does she play the game of life with a cheerful demeanor. She is without a doubt scatterbrained and not likely to be caught with a serious tone in her voice. Tyra has been known to try and come across as a friendly person but most of the effort gets lost in translation as she acts rather strange. It also impedes her ability to help out others with either her wisdom or her intelligence and book smarts.

Tyra is fond of games, She plays games all the time. Her life philosophy qualifies life as just another game and so she acts like it is such. She still does play to help others but not does she do it on a serious note. She does so on a friendly note.

History

Tyra, born a middle child, did not receive the graces of either her old or younger sibling. True, all three of the siblings were gifted. The oldest had a steady hand, a good aim and was a tall Gnome by comparison to most Gnomes. He was always admired by his younger siblings and was also a great guardian. Tyra's younger sibling possessed the power of friendship. It was at least the way some people tended to put it. She was gifted with a clear mind and a remarkable adequate vocabulary. She was loving and tender which led to her being very popular among her age group. But it was not limited to that group as adults found her remarkably charming as well. The youngest child did get all the attention.

She was born a slow learner or so it seemed. She was quite late to show her aptness for mobility and speech. Her parents did not expect much of her and neither did many others. Her sister might've understood but she was mostly caught up in retaining her relationships that it was hard for her to find time to spend with Tyra. The three siblings went their merry little ways. Tyra was mostly confined to her little games, others thought her to be weak-minded by judging her actions.

The small Gnomette didn't do well at all in school either or whatever did define school for Gnomes. She was mostly distracted by other things and neither did she care much for the tests they imposed on her. It was not until a later age that a Gnomish mage had miraculously decided to take Tyra as a pupil. Her parents were astounded as they still believed Tyra to be a dumb Gnome. Nonetheless were they happy. The child had been a bother and a strain on the household, they still did love the girl as she was their daughter.

Her parents had asked the mage why he had chosen Tyra to be his student. He could only answer in vague riddles and sentences that only held together by language itself. Even though he did act like the mysterious stranger that he was did he also act as a kind man. Her parents did hesitate but this kind of offer was too great to resist. Tyra found the mysterious Gnome to suffer from something similar as herself. He was an odd one. Tyra and her teacher got along like clockwerk.

Over the years Tyra and her teacher had become close friends rather than student and teacher. They didn't travel far outside of Dun Morogh in pursuit of their study on magic amongst other things. The years ticked away, nothing happened bar a few wars. The pair had long before the event in Gnomeregan moved to Ironforge as they library was a vast one so there was more knowledge to be had.

The revolt in Gnomeregan nor the great wars had any impact on Tyra's life. Her family remained intact and her focus was left undisturbed, not that she had any focus. A few smart investments in the past had left her a fortune. She still rendezvous with her friend and former teacher but has also gotten on with her own life, joyous to be playing that game.
