Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Tyra usually wears her recently acquired enchanted clothing. Her shoulderpads glow in a bright orange color to suit the color of her hair. The rest of the suit is a mix of black, white and orange. At times she is masked and there for only her eyes are seen as she can pull her hood up. However the mask and the hood are only present during various missions she may go onto, which means combat, she prefers that none of her surviving enemies recognize her face after the said combat. Further more, she does not wear the mask when hanging out with other people.

As for enchants of the said equipment, they are magic amplifying enchants which boost any sort of magic casted by Tyra.

The rest of her garments when she is not in the field are usually consisted of Sin'dorei dresses and robes of red color. However she has a couple of dresses for special occasions yet she had not worn any of them quite yet.

Personality

Tyra is a cheery character, young and rather friendly. Despite her lenience towards shadow magic, she would only use it when she has to. She breaks the stereotype of those who practice darker magic that they are necessarily evil. Yet she keeps her skills secret because she is afraid of what people might think of her. She always tries to make everyone happy, however it would not be a surprise for her to lose her patience if she tries for too long. One might find her walking away after she loses her patience.

She likes to enchant, but above all, she likes a good sense of hygiene as she has one. She is one of those who dislike dirt and the like upon the various objects within their homes or other.

When it comes to friends she is out to make many of them, anyone who shows enough respect and a friendly attitude may become her friend. She gives a chance to all, yet that would not be so when it comes to romance. She falls in love with difficulty because she is afraid of what she might find out in case if she gets curious and accesses the minds of those around her or her romance interest. This is also an issue when she tries to maintain relationships, even friendly ones. She has a problem when it comes to relating with people. Due to many years spent alone and learning alone the arts of light and shadow along with enchanting. She tends to be a loner. Despite her attempts to keep her family together, this is one of the traits that plagues her personality. She just likes to be alone and has difficulty opening to others. This often raises issues within her which she keeps pondering. Sometimes it strives her to depression. She wants friends, but sometimes doesn't. She keeps running in circles within her mind as she tries to find out what she truly wants. Nothing but a confused and young person is what she is.

Discussing politics with Tyra is often pointless. She is very lenient towards The Argent's. She had thought several times of joining them, but she is afraid what would happen if they discovered her use of shadow magic. Alliance or Horde, it often does not matter to her. She hates racism and even more, hates politics. She looks for worthy causes and things which will matter in the long run.

Even though she is not a racist, she dislikes some of the races merely due to their looks, the architecture of their race and perhaps the way of life. However she will not show it in front of the said races , like trolls or orcs.

Last but not least, Tyra is a book worm! If one were to visit her home, he would notice an abundance of books places upon various shelves.

Alignment: Good

History

Tyra was born in Silvermoon along with two of her other brothers, Valicor and Varanduil. Varanduil was the first child of the Dawnshard family, then came Valicor and finally Tyra. Being the youngest and a girl, often gave her the most attention, because often she knew how to get it. Varanduil aimed to become a ranger, while Valicor did not have any specific goals. Tyra never thought she would become a priestess and practice shadow arts at that.

During her short time as a high elf she had no real skills, she did not commit to anything in specific. She lead a calm life while her parents were around. Never did she expect Arthas and the various wars to absolutely destroy everything. She never thought she would need to do much, a part of her was relatively childish and lazy. She was no one. After Arthas came through and after the intake of the fel which she merely observed as survival, she had decided to help her people. She was no fighter but even those who wish not to fight sometimes have to because they have no choice. Where holy light was used to heal wounds and help others. Shadow was used for inflicting pain upon her enemies that would try to harm her, not that she has any enemies. Even so she uses it as a precaution. In combat she only uses the holy light against demons and undead while the shadow is used against other enemies who would easily succumb to such magic. It is a small tactic that she had thought of, will it be effective remains to prove it self as she does not fight often and if she does she uses her wand.

As to how she became a priestess and her reasons for doing as such are rather simple but good, as mentioned she wished to help her people. In truth war is like a plague within Azeroth, it spreads from there to the Outland. Her people ventured into both of these lands. Many died and many were permanently marked by their struggles. Tyra saw the world change around her and it would only become worse. There for she decided to help people by healing them and removing at least the physical pain from them. There for she had signed up as a priestess in training within the court of the Sun in Silvermoon. A girl reaching out towards the light, for her that was a unique experience. She had learned to praise the light and to respect it. Even so, she is no zealot. She respects the beliefs of others. As a young and determined girl she had no issues learning because she really wanted to. The court of the Sun and those who educated her did not exactly provide her with coin and the like. During her studies and mastering of the light she had to seek other ways to earn coin. After her education was complete Tyra committed to healing people and helping them any way she could. She was only dedicated to blood elves and barely ever ventured beyond the Ghostlands. Something that is worthy of note is that she became a priestess after the intake of the fel through mere desire to help and heal.

Time went on and almost always Tyra would be called upon to help heal different people, some even mentally scarred due to their experiences. She wanted to access the minds of such people, to soothe them. The rumors of shadow magic granting that ability if practiced, often haunted her. In the end her curiosity got the worst of her and she began to seek out those that would teach her the said magic. After coming into contact with several different shadow magic users within Silvermoon, Tyra secretly began to learn the said magic. Often she would be afraid of accessing the minds of people due to various reasons. She didn't want to see something which could possibly scar her but she wanted to be able to see what scars the people, how can she help them and what can she do for them. As such she kept training until she mastered it to an extent where she did not need any further guidance. In truth, the shadow magic was almost always used to mind soothe those in anger, sadness or similar feelings. She would access minds of people to try and help them get through that which pains them, that which scars them.

Tyra's parents were killed within the assault of Arthas onto Silvermoon, there she was separated from her parents and took a closer step to elven culture and spirituality. This is why she embraced the light afterwards in the way blood elves have. Her curiosity however had lead her to a darker side of things, even though she herself was never „dark“ in the form of evil. Luckily for her she managed to remain undiscovered. After Arthas ravaged through Silvermoon she was one of the lucky survivors along with her brothers. Valicor eventually abandoned her side and went to travel on his own, while Varanduil went off to Northrend to fight the Scourge, but before that he had spent a long time being a ranger.

This has left Tyra alone and she was forced to look after herself. After everything that has happened with the elves, Silvermoon, Kael'Thas,Outland, she found herself a home which she settled within Eversong Woods. From there she would work on her education. She did not have the coin to educate herself, she'd barely scrape by. She managed to get a job as a bar maid within Silvermoon. That was her main source of income for many years to come as her education had unfolded. By the end of it, she had taken a great interest into enchantment. She would save up coin and buy books to study the arts of enchanting. After six years, her brothers returned to Silvermoon. By that time she had a very small collection of clothing. Times were harsh on her.

With the return of her brothers, they had helped her financially. After all this time as a soldier, Varanduil had made a lot of coin. He had nothing to spend it on while in the Northrend and there for he had shared a lot of his wealth with his sister. After that, Tyra has enjoyed an easier life. The wealth of her brother and the recent stroll of luck had left her wealthy, educated and in possession of worthy equipment of a priestess such as her. Even to this day she hides the fact she is a priestess. She uses it to help others secretly, it is no surprise for her to go out of her way to help others as a separate entity, unseen by those being helped. She would only reveal herself if she has to and only a few know what she truly is.

Often she uses her mind tricks to help others and guide them in the right direction, pretending to be merely an innocent girl. But her recent attire changes that. She looks dangerous to an extent, but her personality takes care of that. Her recent ventures have lead her to meet those of the alliance and the horde. She learned to respect both sides and had made friends on both sides as well. She tries her best to remain neutral in conflicts but she has no issue with fighting as she had recently against the Scarlets.

Nowadays Tyra tries to travel much of the known world as she remains a very untraveled and misinformed person. Relaying to survive on the coin her brother had given her. However she knows that won't last forever, so she often sells enchantments to various adventurers and travelers, hoping to make enough coin by doing just that. One day Tyra plans to open a shop and sell enchantments, then again, a part of her feels like joining the Argents and that is not where it ends. She wishes to visit Shattrath city, she wants to see the town of draenei, blood elves and the Naaru. What will happen after that remains to be seen.

Skills and Abilities

Tyra is a rather skilled shadow priest, yet she lacks all the experience and skills within the field of battle. Often she hides her shadow magic behind the other two disciplines associated with the talents of the priests. She is rather stealthy when it comes to the use of the shadow magic, mostly she uses it to access the minds of others in an attempt to help them overcome certain barriers or she simply mind soothes them. She has become quite good at it and there for rarely has an issue stealthily entering a persons mind, however she does not take that lightly and only accesses a persons mind if she has a good reason to do so. Abusing someone's memories and thoughts is not what she does.

Tyra is also an enchanter, not a day goes by without her enchanting something, or practicing certain enchants. She has fully mastered the ways of enchanting weapons with fire. There is a lot for her to learn however, but she has no issue with that. The lack of supplies is often a problem and she tends to ask people for supplies or sends them out to collect such supplies for her. If she has the coin she buys them.

She praises the holy light and does not feel any guilt for using shadow magic as she had never used it for evil nor does she intend to. She merely hides it due to what society might think. But her as a person, she approves of her own use of shadow magic and uses the light to heal and help others. She does not use shadow often, but only when she has to like in battle. She sees the shadow as a tool and nothing more, merely a supplement to her skills. Her use of shadow magic never lead her away from the light and she had never stepped away from it.
