History

Tufani is named after an air elemental in an old folklore story his father told him. Tufani's tribe were a group of Nomadic tauren who were almost exclusively born with midnight fur, he was born into a large tribe. They moved across the barren land, telling stories of mischievous spirits, and malicious demons around the campfire. Stories of fantastical imagery but deep rooted morals and themes the young members took with them as they grew wiser.

As Tufani got slightly older, he began to resent his name. In the story Tufani was a mischievous spirit who's constant winds prohibited growth of crops, and stifled the wild life in the area. According to the story the elemental only sought attention and respect. The story was used against Tufani whenever he was being reprimanded for something he did wrong. He stuck close to his father though who was the chieftain of the small tribe. A shaman whose communion with the spirits was just as mystical as it was intriguing. His father's friend was a druid, who began teaching young Tufani how to commune with nature.

As Tufani aged he grew as a druid, he was sent to the test to hunt for a large Kodo that wandered in the area. He fought with the animal barehanded, then in animal form and won. The fight was gruesome and awarded to Tufani by luck, he was found in the prairie dying in the rain. He was taken back to the tribes camp, and healed by the fire. It was there it was proven to the rest of the tribe that he had become a druid. They began the ceremony and started to make him with the tribal tattoos.

Shortly after they were finished, the tribe was attacked by Centaur. Their druids did nothing but corrupt the land as they ransacked the recuperating tauren. While the centaur began burning the tents, and slaughtering the fatigued tauren, orcs and other tauren from a different tribe came to their rescue. The battle was fierce, and filled with screams but ultimately ended in their favor.

After names were exchanged the few remaining Ravenhooves joined them, and fought alongside them and the new horde. It was there in the wind swept mesa of Mulgore he began furthering his studies as a druid remembering all that was taught to him by his father's friend. He resumes his search for any missing Ravenhooves that may have been split up during their massacre that night.
