Personality

Alignment: Neutral Good

Truux has pretty bad manners and a short fuse. She easily gets angry and it's not rare for her to end up in trouble because of it. While Truux has commanded units in battle on several occasions, she is more of a follower type and she has troubles handling the responsibility of commanding soldiers. She feels that they are more of her conscience than her troops and every fallen soldier strikes her hard.

Truux has problems with authority, thinking that the higher ups simply demands her respect and outmost obedience while she believes that respect is earned through battle. A commanding officer fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with his troops, however, is someone that Truux has the greatest respect for and will follow without question into any battle situation the officer would think of throwing her into.

Truux, like many other Draenei, mistrusts any who are of shadow or fel or in any way an enemy of the light and outright loathes Orcs and Blood Elves, the exception being the various members of The Shattered Sun, whom she believes have made up for the race's collective crimes by helping to further the greater good through the Shattered Sun Offensive. Truux treats a Blood Elven member of the Shattered Sun like she would treat any Draenei brother or sister.

While Truux can come off as aggressive, violent and arrogant, her entire personality seems to change when she's around her thousand year old daughter and many joke that Truux in fact suffers from multiple personality disorder because of the huge change in personality that is caused by her daughter's presence. Truux fees guilty for leaving her daughter in the care of one of her good friends while she is out fighting. She knows her daughter worries for her every time she steps out the door, and being good around her is Truxx's way of trying to make up for her absence and the fact that her daughter needs to worry about her.

History

Truux was born on a desert planet the Draenei were passing through on their long journey to outrun The Burning Legion and she, like so many other Draenei, grew up on one of the dimensional ships used by the Draenei to traverse the Twisting Nether and her life was very similar to any other Draenei during these many, many years of constant running.

Things changed when the Draenei reached Draenor. They stayed there for a long time and the Legion didn't seem to turn up. Everybody started to wind down and think that maybe, just maybe, they had outrun the legion. As the pace of Draenei life dropped, Truux started to settle down with her mate and daughter.

Truux had been a trained soldier, but on Draenor, little of her services were required. There were no demons and the Orcs, whom they had stumbled upon on this planet, were peaceful. The only times her services were required was in the case of violent wildlife and it was rare for that to happen and Truux slowly became a housewife.

Then the Orcs suddenly turned on the Draenei and Truux found herself with sword in hand once more. During the Orc offensive, Truxx's mate was one of many Draenei who stayed behind to ensure that the rest of them would reach Zangarmarsh. Truux still feels guilty for letting him go through with it but she understood that it had to be done and left with the other Draenei heading for Zangarmarsh.

Truux personally participated in the operation to seize The Exodar and she was in command of a small unit of which she herself was the only survivor, something she still blames herself for. At least she and the other Draenei managed to take off in The Exodar and they were heading to safety. Or so she thought.

The Exodar's dimensional travel failed and it crashed in Azuremyst. During its descent, a wall in the room Truux was in was ripped open and she was torn out of the ship. After what seemed like an eternity of free falling, watching the ship tear asunder until its inevitable crash, which she heard more of than saw, before she herself landed in the ocean off the coast of Durotar.

The impact knocked her out cold but at least she was alive. Adding to her “luck” was a goblin ship that was just passing by, on route for Booty Bay. The Goblins, never seeing a Draenei in their lives, figured she'd fetch a nice price and was therefore branded a slave.

Truux woke up to the sound of gunfire and cannons as the goblin ship was attacked by the Bloodsail Buccaneers. Truux, of course being extremely confused about what was happening, did what any person would have done. She jumped out the nearest window, not considering that she was at sea. Hitting the water seemed to clear her mind a little and she grabbed some nearby debris and started to swim herself to land not so far off in the distance. Exhausted, Truux reached a beach in Stranglethorn Vale and passed out from exhaustion.

Hours later, Truux came to, blinking in the red sunlight of the dusk when she heard the sound of something growling. She turned her head and faced a tiger just a few yards away who instantly pounced her. Truux managed to get her arm to the tiger's throat, stopping its maw just inches from her own face. She groaned in pain as the tiger dug its claws into Truxx's chest. With great effort, she managed to throw the tiger off herself and stumbled to her feet. Frantically looking around for a weapon, she noticed a skinning knife that had floated ashore on the same piece of debris she had. She dived for it and grabbed it, the tiger in hot pursuit. After Truux grabbed the knife, she turned to face the tiger just as it was pouncing her. Truux raised her hoof and it hit the tiger straight in the face, stunning it and causing it to fall the ground. Truux mounted the tiger and started stabbing away and didn't stop until she was sure it was dead.

After catching her breath, it started raining and she was getting cold, so she started skinning the tiger, whose pelt she wore to protect herself from the rain.

Truux spent weeks in the jungle, struggling to live, using the tiger pelt for warmth and scaring off some of the animals in the Vale, until she encountered another Draenei in the jungle who apparently had been tasked by some guy she just had met to kill exactly eight tigers. The new Draenei explained to Truux what had happened the last few weeks and then accompanied her to Stormwind. Truux never forgot that jungle though. The Vale and that tiger were the first things she encountered on this new world of challenges. The tiger pelt is hanging on the wall in her current home and in battle, she wears war paint resembling tiger stripes on her face so that the face of the tiger that once filled her with fear can strike fear into the hearts of her enemies.

Truux spent the coming few weeks recovering from her jungle ordeal and learning about this new planet she had now found herself on. The humans of Stormwind, whom she socialized with and was actually taking a liking too, found her name too outlandish and started calling her Trudy. Truux, who had always disliked her name, embraced this nickname and prefers it over her real name.

When she felt that she had recovered, she traveled by ship back to Azuremyst and the Exodar and reunited with her Daughter. The Draenei she had encountered in Stranglethorn, whom she was now good friends with, had gone with her to The Exodar. After hearing about the dark portal and its connection to Draenor, Truux, her friend and her daughter traveled to it and through it and once again found themselves in Draenor.

After reaching Shattrath, Truux figured it was time she did some actual good and joined the Shattered Sun Offensive. While she was away, her friend took care of Truux's daughter. Truux played her part in the offensive on the Isle of Quel'Danas and continues to serve with The Shattered Sun still.
