Personality

Proud and young, Thun'tuk has a tendency to speak his mind and not know when to shut his mouth. Thun'tuk has a strong hatred for Demons like most of his race as well as humans due to his younger life. And is set out to do what he can to combat their threats and heal the places touched by their corruption. Weary of any but his own kind, Thun'tuk tends to be rather reserved when not speaking to orcs. Other then that, he's sociable and very willing to chat be it a Veteran with stories to share, or someone closer to his own age who wants to discuss future glory or plans.

He walks a very thin line between pride and arrogance, often crossing over and causing him to be put in his place. Eager to learn about the elements, Thun'tuk is always on the prowl for a way to better his skill as a Shaman.

History

Born to parents he knew only for a brief time, Thun'tuk was raised in an interment camp. As a child, Thun'tuk was defiant and did all he could to spite the overseers. Always met with harsh beatings or extra hours of labor. Thun'tuk and the other orcs stuck together to stay alive, the elders always placing the young over themselves. He began to realize that if he was going to live, he'd have to keep his head down and bide his time.

When Thun'tuk was still a child, talk of Thrall coming through to free the orcs of their human captives spread through the camps. The guards became jumpy and worried, their punishment to their orc captives becoming harsher and more strict. More and more orcs began to die off, but shortly after a band of orcs freed by Thrall came through and liberated the camp Thun'tuk was born in.

Now with freedom, and the wind at his back Thun'tuk took up arms with his brothers who had given him freedom and went onto aid the liberation of the internment camps. He stuck with the small band as a young man, not participating in the battles due to his age of thirteen. But they let him stick around to hunt and help gather supplies. When the group would go to battle, he would stay at the camp they set up with a few of the other younger ones. Preparing the camp for the injured and the return of the warriors.

After his few years with the warband they had finally gotten rid of the remaining camps and it was rumored all of them were free. So began the trek back home. Going across the Eastern Kingdoms until they reached Stranglethorn and set sail. Though the journey back, Thun'tuk got to talking with an older orc who was close to the end of his life. He began to talk to the young orc about the elements and how they help and guide those worthy to study them. The orc he spoke with was no shaman himself though he came from a line of shamans. As the orc spun tales of shamans, Thun'tuk couldn't help but come to be enticed by the elemental warriors.

On their ride back home from Booty Bay where they paid Goblins for passage back to Durotar. Reaching Durotar, the old orc Thun'tuk had became close with seemed to be at the end of his life. He was ill, and the hard strain of battles and the trek had cut his time short. Thun'tuk stayed with him the last few days of his life, until he died by the Thun'tuk's side peacefully. Promising to himself that he would learn to serve the elements like the stories he was told, he sought out his task once they got to Durotar.

Stepping onto the land of the orcs for the first time spawned an overwhelming sense of pride and nationalism in the young shaman to be. Thun'tuk was now sixteen years old and starting to don the the responsibilities of an almost member of society. He broke away from his warband, wanting to pursue a life of his own. Working here and there close to Orgimmar he spent his next few years surviving. In his free time, he would practice combat with a pair of dual axes he was given for work he did. They were old and worn out, but he was proud of his weapons and became skilled with them.

Finally close to twenty years old, it was time for him to seek out his path which he wanted. Saving up coin over the years, he bought basic gear and began his journey into the Barrens. Thinking on all the things the old orc on the boat had told him, he started at the Crossroads. Gathering where the shamanistic spots in the desert were and making his way to them. He called to the elements at each one, with no response. Frustrated and angry, he began his trek back. He found his own place to camp, atop one of the plateau of a mountain he made his camp for the night. Cold and unable to start a fire or cook his food due to the wind, he pleaded with the elements to aid him. And at last, his call was answered as a small flame burned in his palm.

Running into a camp of Tauren on his way back, Thun'tuk camped with them for the night. They spoke of Fel Wood, and how tainted and corrupted it was. Thun'tuk thought it over and decided to make his way to heal the twisted land. Upon arriving, he stopped at Bloodvenom post. Staying there for a while and learning all he could about the area. Soon, he met Kag'rin Sunderskull. The Battlemaster of the Deadeye Watchers. Who explained they had the same goal to drive the demons from the land. Thun'tuk agreed to join for a short time, and aid what he could. But after a display of strength and honor from the Deadeyes the young orc agreed to join the Warband permanently.

Now Thun'tuk seeks a mentor to better help him understand the way of a Shaman, and to aid the Deadeyes in their struggle.
