When in a “safe” area, Thrum will be found in a tabard with mail leggings and boots. He wears white leather under this tabard, with his arms exposed to show his tattoos. He's dressed in full leather and mail when hunting.

His pet wolf is always by his side, but Thrum has considered letting him rest as the wolf is old. His tattoos are white, and it looks like he bites his nails until there's nothing left to bite.

Personality

Thrum is an orc of the wilds, preferring to be left with his wolf to hunt than stick around Orgrimmar. He walks with an aura of false confidence, but starts to bite his nails when in a conversation, waiting for something, walking around, or just about anything. Thrum is shy and nervous to the core when dealing with anyone. He's better around animals.

History

Thrum was born to the Frostwolf clan in Alterac Mountain, long after they were exiled from the Old Horde and Draenor. The boy was raised by his father, a warrior who earned the name Blackblade for his accomplishments fighting the Draenei in Shattrath City, to protect the clan with axe and bow. Blackblade died while Thrum was still a child, so the boy took Blackblade as his own surname to honor his father. Thrum would continue his training with his friend, Gorrum.

Gorrum died young, leaving Thrum to stay around his wolf companions more than his orc brethren. He also got into the habit of biting his nails when nervous, a habit that his father tried and failed to break. He felt like he was growing apart from the orcs as he seemed to be hunting more and socializing less. This didn't bother him as he considered his wolf, named after his friend Gorrum, as his best friend.

Thrum would join the other Frostwolves when they rallied under Thrall and Doomhammer to free the other orcs. War only managed to make Thrum, who was losing his hair around this time, want to pull further from society. But he continued to push on, assisting Thrall's Horde all the way to Kalimdor and establishing the city of Orgrimmar in the land of Durotar.

Thrum would stay to the wilds of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, hunting with Gorrum and maybe assisting nearby goblin towns for merc money. When the dwarves tried to oust the Frostwolves from Alterac, Thrum would return to the mountains to assist in holding the orcs back. When the Dark Portal reopened, Thrum would settle for a bit in Nagrand with the Mag'har. He would leave quickly as he didn't feel comfortable around people. When zeppelins started to travel to Northrend, Thrum took the one to the Howling Fjord and journeyed north into the Grizzly Hills. His time there ended quickly when tensions between the Alliance and Horde ruined his hunting trip. He tried to enjoy Sholazar Basin, but Nessingwary and the Wolvar ruined the hunting experience for him.

He returned to Durotar before the Lich King fell, but only so his wolf can live its remaining days in peace. He's still not good with people, and he's still a nail biter.
