Throk to others can be seen as an usually friendly Orc that will sit down and have a pleasant conversation about whatever conversation crops up. But the truth is, in his head, Throk is remembering each fact of the person that slips out. Personality, past, fears. He makes note of these and pieces together a way in which he could use them to aid him in a task or to have them remove the task altogether.

In order to leak out information from others, Throk is quite the liar and will say them off so truthfully that whoever is listening would mistake them for truth. However when it comes to protection of the horde or the Blackwolf Clan, Throk will be focused and very untalkative. Dispite him thinking of himself as an smart and cunning, Throk often finds himself still bound to the blood fury of many Orcs and would never pass up the chance for a battle.

History

Throk was born a year before the First War, on the lands of Draenor. On that hellish land is where he spent the first few years of his life. Due to his father, even from a young age Throk was introduced to the teachings and power of a Shaman. His father spent many years teaching his son the way of the Shaman and was granted with a pleasantly quick understanding on Throk's part. When the practice of being a Shaman was outlawed, Throk's father, like many switched to the way of the Warlock.

After that Horde had successfully taken over Stormwind and pushed the humans back into Lordaeron, Throk's father took him through the Dark Portal to understand the power of the Horde. While on the lands of Azeroth, Throk saw the fury of his race in battle. They were savage, merciless and for some unknown reason, he found it rather beautiful. The way that their warriors cut through the humans one by one. Poetic almost. Throk's father also always had Throk follow him around to see how the Orcs planned their battle plans and the way that they were executed on the field. Throk learnt much.

Then in no time at all, the Horde was defeated. Throk's father laid dead on a pile of bodies as he was ushered past by human soldiers towards a distant camp. Many years Throk spent working in these camps, receiving abuse and beatings from the guards. But every day that he spent in the camp he always remembered and lived by the teachings that his father had taught him. To survive and get by, Throk enlisted the duties of a Shaman to help himself stay strong, dispite the practice being outlawed. His father had often told him that he wished he could of continued to show him the Shaman way. But pretty soon, Throk learnt that there was no place for a Shaman in the camps. He was lied to and cheated by his fellow Orcs, sometimes to avoid punishment themselves, sometimes just to steal away his food for themselves or their familes and sometimes... just for the fun of it.

For ten years, Throk lived in the camps, learned the ways of survival and he himself became a liar and making friends purely to benefit himself in the long run. When Thrall had began to liberate the camps, news had leaked to himself and his fellow Orcs of the camp and they waited patiently for a rescue to come and by god it did. The battle was short and bloody. The Horde forces swiftly killed the Guards and from then on Throk was a free Orc once more. Throk then travelled along with Thrall and the rest of his race on ships overseas to the land of Durotar.

While travelling, Throk learnt more of the Shaman teachings from fellow Orcs that had heard it from Thrall himself and from veteran Shamans that had converted themselves back from the way of the Warlock. His knowledge grew and Throk knew that he would try his hardest to follow down the path of his father. When the Orcs founded themselves in Durotar, Throk headed out with the soldiers to go and aid the Tauren. While out here, he had another run in with a fellow Shaman that didn't approve of his ways of deception. Thus it evolved into a duel. The fight was long and neither of them showed any sign of letting up. Through cunning and planning, Throk had managed to blind the Shaman with a mace hit to the forehead, allowing the blood to seep into his eyes. The battle then finally ended by Throk crushed the Shaman under a volley of falling rocks within a weak cave along the mountain range of Mulgore. An Elder Shaman then granted him the second name of "Deathplanner".

Once the Taurens had been helped and were part of the Horde, Throk set himself out to continue his learning of the Shaman way. During which he met another Orc Shaman by the name of Riplah and the meeting ended with Throk becoming a member of the Blackwolf Clan. Throk now wonders the lands of Kalimdor, waiting for orders from the Blackwolf Chieftan.
