Personality

Thelviron, during his early life, was a giant, ignoble prick. His easy time at the academies of Dalaran, and the flow of magic made him arrogant. That arrogance cost him his life. A short week later, Thelviron had serious doubts about who he was as a person, but eventually overcame them. Falling in love with a Kaldorei friend, he was branded a traitor by the Blood Knights, who hunted him down and attempted to kill him. His love was kidnapped -twice-, and he was emotionally traumatized by the results of such. Unfortunately, instead of requiting his love, she rejected him, giving the excuse of “politics.” After his second death, Thel now has become more light-hearted, to hide the terrible scars left behind him on his two years of being dead.

History

Thelviron was born in the great city of Silvermoon to an Archmage father, and a noble mother. He spent almost all of his child-hood years in the great vastness of Dalaran, the City of Magic. Becoming a successful mage, and a member of the Kirin Tor, out he went, to find his place in the world, studying magic and ancient history of whatever he could find. He took a particular liking to the magics of the Frost school.

Not taking any part of the First War, Thelviron was quite helpful to the Human Alliance in the Second War, taking part in the battles of Eversong Woods, and the deployment to Lordaeron. Following the successful battles there, he pushed on to Zul'dare with the rest of the Alliance, causing him a long-lasting defect consisting of muscle weakness. He took little part in the war effort after that violent struggle.

After returning to Silvermoon for much need rest and recovery, he occasionally ported back and forth between Dalaran and the Sun City, recuperating and learning, always learning. The rise of the Scourge, and the subsequent deaths of almost all the elves in Silvermoon drew him away from Dalaran, only to find nothing was left of his family. Enraged, he joined Prince Kael'Thas's “Blood Elves”, and eventually turning into a fel-addicted mage. With the Naaru's sacrifice to the Sunwell, his addiction ended, and he now resides in Booty Bay.

With Kael's betrayal, and the subsequent death of Arthas the Lich King, Thelviron spent his time mingling with other races, having nothing better to do. Having taunted some Humans too far, his arrogance killed him, in the form of a curb stomp. A few weeks later, and many massive headaches behind, Thelviron focused on supporting his friends, and his secret love. After being hunted by the Blood Knights, among them a Spellbreaker, who orchestrated the kidnapping of his Kaldorei friend and crush, Thel found himself fighting a losing battle for his friend's life. Supporting him, Miruka was of great help to Thel. He still lost, and in doing so, lost his right hand as a lesson. Miru swiftly guided him to the Bloody Arrow, a ship owned by her sister, and re-attached the hand with Light magic. Thel thanked her profusely, and in the healing fatigue, admitted his true feelings. However, Miru did not return such feelings, and rejected his advances. Heartbroken and rejected, Thelviron found himself outside the Bay, and was ambushed by rivals he had made, who had planted a bomb, blowing him into hundreds of bits and pieces.

Hearing of the death of their months after the fact, some mages of the Kirin Tor traveled discreetly to the Bay in hopes to recover some pieces of the dead elf. They only find half a femur, which was severely rotted. They stored it magically, and began gathering Priests and Paladins who would be willing to risk a such complicated resurrection. The fruits of such labor only came about two years later, in which a gathering successfully resurrected. With his mind so long-gone, he lost a lot of his long-term memories, as well as his ability to channel the Arcane. After meeting with some more shady characters, Thelviron learned how to pick pockets, do some climbing and sneaking, and the barest basics of knife-fighting.

Now, as Thelviron wanders the world, his thoughts turn to the possibility of the Shadow Realm, seeing the power and the freedom his friend experienced, and he can't help but wonder what it would be like. Following his friend's connections, he came into contact with a Sin'Dorei Shadow Priest by the name of Ralerian. After sitting down and having his questions answered for hours, he was ready to learn the ways of the Shadow. While his friends do not approve, they will not deny him his only chance of success in life. He now travels from Dalaran to different places in the world, as his teacher is constantly moving.
