Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Tehta is a youthful orc that is full of spunk and isn't afraid to adventure and battle. It is not surprising to see her caught up in some shenanigans, usually related to her hobby of collecting herbs, even if it means having to venture into dangerous territory to beat the tar out of someone(usually a troll) to get it. The “flowers” she tries to obtain are often to aid in her visions of the spirits. Smoking them causes her to calm down and actually focus in her meditation, well, at least when it's not making her see pretty colors on the inside of her eyelids.

Overall she is good natured but very impulsive. She sometimes will find herself in trouble based on reckless decisions, but often she's determined to see her decisions through to the end rather than abandoning her plans. While she identifies to the Horde as her faction, Tehta is somewhat tolerant of other races, so long as they don't get in her way.

Unlike her Flower Picker ancestors, Tehta sees violence as something that is very necessary, and sometimes unnecessary, depending on how she thinks it'll affect the situation. Knowing her clan had been nearly wiped out because of their unwillingness to fight has lead to this conviction.

History

Before Tehta had been born, both her parents had fled from the destruction of their clan and sought safety with the Horde that had been formed. Her parents were of the many orcs that got rounded up and placed in internment, and so Tehta was born in the captivity of humans. When she was a child, Thrall and Grom Hellscream arrived. During the siege of the internment camps Tehta found herself fleeing to the nearest place of safety that she could away from the fighting. The young and scared orc was separated by her parents, but none-the-less under the protection of the warriors that joined in to help fight with Thrall. By the end of the battle the orcs were freed, and Tehta was quickly reunited with her father.

However, her mother had disappeared, and was assumed to have died in the siege.

Tehta was very sad but couldn't linger long to search for her mother. She was only a child, and was wisked away with her father and the rest. She followed her father as the orcs underwent their journey, rediscovering shamanism, and finding their place overseas in Kalimdor. During this time Tehta sought wisdom from her father, and he did his best to mold her into a proud Flower Picker.

While in Kalimdor he taught her about the flowers and herbs, and ways of peace that the clan she came from so valued. He also allowed the young orc to follow the traditions of the Horde that focused on the spirits and ancestors. However, she didn't entirely fit into the mold of what her father desired. He was but one person in her life, and there were other influences. Her friends, her elders, the culture around her, and hearing about the wars made her think of her old clan, and how the Flower Pickers perished under pacifism. Tehta was much more interested in a different kind of philosophy from her father.

While she was still young she took up the mantle of shamanism and began her training under some of the elders in Orgrimmar. Tehta did her best to try and commune with her ancestors and the spirits, often with the aid of herb that her father taught her to gather. As the years passed she found the spirits trusting enough of the young shaman that they would come to her aid, it was difficult, but she managed it.

By the time she became a fully fledged shaman, however, the wars were over, as well as the conflicts in Northrend. The mutual enemy of the Horde and the Alliance were vanquished, and while there were tensions between the two factions, there wasn't any war yet that she could join into. Because of this Tehta left herself to her own devices, deciding to continue to meditate and hone her skills as a shaman. She has become her own guide, and seeks to enhance her connection with the spirits.
