Tarosh has two different personalities depending on who he converses with. He will be reserved and slightly agressive to those he does not yet trust. On the other hand he will be friendly and very loyal to those he does. Taroshs personality will also adjust when he shapeshifts to one of his animal forms, though he will only use these forms in combat or during a hunt. In battle Tarosh will indeed fight and act like a wild animal though he will have enough grasp on himself to stop himself going too far if needs be. During normal day to day life Tarosh will be seen with a stern look on his face and, if you look close enough to notice, he seems to be trying not to make eye contact with anyone he does not need to. His loyality to his friends and family is the redeeming part of his personality however, as he has no qualms with putting himself in harms way to protect them.

History

Tarosh was born into a small nomadic tribe. In his childhood Tarosh trained daily with his father to become a brave of the tribe. The training itself was long and sometimes brutal, however Tarosh's father always made sure to not overwork his son. One evening, after spending the day training with his father, the older tauren decided to take his son somewhere secluded and have a father son talk. The conclusion of this talk urged Tarosh not to trust anyone who had not earned it no matter who they are, as per his fathers wishes.

Due to his brave yet proud nature he obtained the totem of the Lion, He has a trinket that seems to be a Lion's tooth to show this. He recieved this tooth by completing the rite of the hunt by hunting a powerful a ferocious lion that was causing problems for the surrounding animals. He returned to his camp bloodied but triumphant with the corpse of the beast over his shoulder and, as proof of the deed, was given the tooth of the beast as both a reward and a symbol of his animal totem.

He has spent the last year training as a druid of the wild. During his training he adopted the name blackhoof in honour of his mentor. His love for nature has been there since he was a calf and when word reached his ears that taurens where being accepted into Moonglade to learn, or relearn according to old teachings, the ways of druidism he knew he could not pass this opportunity to follow a path that, deep down in his spirit, he knew he wanted to follow. Therefore he promised he would go there once he fully completed his adulthood rites.

Once he reached his 51st year on the world he embarked on a return journey to the lands of Mulgore and the bluff where the united tribes, under Cairne Bloodhoofs banner, meet and live. Now that he has arrived he seeks to progress himself more in his teachings and bring honour to his family. He also seeks to explore the lands of the world and ease the suffering caused to the earthmother due to corruption and other factors. His journey starts in the Red Cloud Mesa in a small tauren camp...
