Skills and Abilities

He is a physically strong dwarf, and he also has the discipline and pain threshold to withstand more than an average person's worth of pain. He won't take a load of gunfire and stay up like some kind of invincible man, but he certainly won't go down too easily. I'm not a power gamer like that. He is proficient with an axe, with advanced weapon training to be able to efficiently and skillfully use one in combat; and he has moderately good capabilities with ranged weapons such as crossbows, guns and bows. His exposure to forges and fire has given him a resistance to fire and heat.

Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Usually wears large plate to defend himself from any attacks, and a wolf head on his head.

Other: Targhen is a fair dwarf with a muscular build, like most dwarves. He is a miner in Dun Morogh and often visits Stormwind for training as a warrior. Used to brawl for The Crew, but has returned to normal life since. Hefts a large axe around.

Personality

He is a strict with the heart of a warrior. There is only time for humor when he's drunk. Which is... Almost every minute. He carries a keg by his side, and he never cares even if it diminishes his strength. He prefers to be independant, but he carries the Ironforge symbol on his tabard and cloak.

He isn't very describable as a person. Mostly just your regular dwarf.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

History

He was raised by his father. His father was a hunter, a expert at the rifle. Targhen was interested in whacking rabbits with a stick, instead of shooting one. Only because he failed at aiming half the time. His father got frustrated with him as he wouldn't take up his footsteps and abandoned him in Kharanos when he followed him to work when Targhen was at the age of 17. At his young age, he had trouble finding work to earn a living, mainly because he wasn't given a skillset which would make him of any use. Added with the fact that he was in a fragile mental state from what his father had done, he really wasn't able to do anything other than drinking and punching his life away.

After a few months of unemployment and freezing nights, he visited the blacksmith's to get a warm rest and after awhile he borrowed a few of his weapons to beat a dummy with to release his anger. He soon became the Blacksmith's weapon tester, the blacksmith gave him the same dummy and he would swing the weapon he got from the Blacksmith at it. He found he loved the axe because it would splinter the wood the fastest and it was nice looking with the designs on them. He loved destroying things with it, of course, not the blacksmith's special things, though.

The blacksmith became very fond of him, and since Targhen was doing little jobs around Kharanos and splitting his earnings, and he started to learn Blacksmithing, and made fairly good weapons with him, he paid for a few days of warrior training for him. It wasn't much, but it was a good idea. As the days passed and they earned more money, the Blacksmith would pay back for his assistance by paying for more training sessions.

Eventually the warrior trainer recommended him to start helping Kharanos with it's problems because of his amount of experience by going to him, and learning bit by bit about techniques to attack and defend against a potential enemy. He earned a living off of helping everyone, and he moved to Ironforge at the age of 29. He became a miner, and he constantly visits his "step-father," the blacksmith. Eventually the Blacksmith passed away, and memories of his father returned to him. He started to think about him, and started to pay for writing lessons at a human in the central part of Ironforge, near the Great Forge. It wasn't the best class ever, but it taught him enough that he started to write a journal in Common.

Currently he is working in a mine near Amberstill Ranch. Not a lot is happening to him.
